Great job for the money! Took so much stuff out of the lawn. I used scarifier attachment on zero setting, it scored the lawn well. I agree bag fills up quick as other reviewers have commented but that was ok. I'm happy with results overall.

Mower does not turn off. Starts great, but when releasing the top bar, engine does not turn off.Contacted manufacturer three times. No response.Cannot return item on Amazon. Came defective. Waiste of money. Avoid.

I have only used twice so far but it did work great. I am not a fan of constantly moving around the extension cord but it's a minor inconvenience. Cause of that, I am giving it 4 stars. I am very happy tho with the price and for what it does.

Just took it out of box and there seems to be oil all over it, gonna let it sit for a day and see what happens, just writing this for documentation of the liquid on it incase it blows up, although I pray that doesn't happen 🙂

Was wanting a SunJoe but every big box store, Amazon & even the manufacturer was sold out. Now that just seems odd to me. This thing looks to have the exact profile as SunJoe. I used the dethatcher 1st then the scarcifier next. I think it might be just as well to use the scarcifier only since it works great. I set it on the lowest setting & had zero problems. I have 1/2 acre lot a ran it constantly. And no sense in using the bag as many said. If you have it, just run the riding mower on low with a bagger & save time & your back. The only odd part is there are 5 screws holding the cover on but even after taking them out, you can't remove the lid to clean the grass clippings inside near the motor. Guess they don't want you messing around near the motor but in that case, why even bother putting screws on it? No big deal. I simply bent the lid back & used a compressor to blow it out but doubt it would cause a problem if you never cleaned this area out. Totally happy. Thank you!

There are dozens of dethatchers on the market and it is difficult to know how well they’ll perform. The Senex 15” is designed in China and is assembled in Mexico. The packaging was solid and the unit assembled easily in just a few minutes without tools. The unit itself appeared well made and the adjustments were smooth. Operationally, the unit performed very well, was comfortable to use, sound was manageable, and no vibration or other difficulties with the device. We did not experience any difficulties with the dethatcher, including thermal shutdown and the bag easily mounted and gathered the debris. The only drawback is the size of the bag, while comparatively large is still too small for the amount of thatch the unit removes. While that’s a testament to the machine’s efficiency, having to stop and dump after two passes on the lawn was dissatisfying. Alternatively, one can use it without the bag, though that will lead to a lot of manual raking. The 15” width was appreciated and helps to speed up the process. Compared to other commonly available dethatchers, I appreciated the unit’s quality, performance, and price. Additionally, it comes with an uncharacteristically long, three year warranty.
