These are just what I'm looking for! Heavy-duty but not to Heavy-duty. Easy setup. Me being a wheelchair user photographer it is a hassle moving stands back and forth, so these stands with wheels are like gold to me. Thanks for well built stands.

I bought this stand recently for my Flashpoint Xplor 600 with extension head. It's something to use when I travel. It's has a lot of good things such as wheels, it's heavy duty and multi-positional light stand pin. But unfortunately in the boom position it can't handle much. A 16in beauty dish no problem but a 3ft octobox no, it's starts to collapse into it self. So all in all like I said it's a good stand but not very versatile.

Glad to have gotten a light stand with wheels!Makes life easier by rolling the light around (rolling the camera equipment around > carrying them).IMO the wheels give the stand a lower center of gravity because the weight distribution remains balanced (more stability from knocking down easily). The quality is good for the price, would recommend 5/5!

The two worst things that could happen to a photographer on a gig are: 1) not having your equipment, and 2) bad conditions & terrain. Both happened recently, and Britek's light stand managed to save the day. My usual light stand broke while traveling out of town, so I purchased this as a replacement. I've used the vendor before for a few parts & pieces and always had a good experience. Shipping was quick and the light stand was easy to set up in time for the wedding shoot.Usually, maneuvering a light stand in gravel, grass, and slopes is difficult without an assistant, but this stand handled it all with ease and provided great photos. The mobility cannot be understated. It didn't feel flimsy or wobbly at all, and the counterweight system really let me take high/extended boom shots without worrying about tipping. I had no issues with the attaching my flashes & modifiers to the adaptors. At this point, I've made Britek my primary light stand for road gigs and will probably buy another one for my studio as well. I'd recommend this to both amateur photographers looking for a well-priced entry-level light stand, and experienced photographers looking for as a lightweight travel backup or even primary studio stand.
