I needed a small tripod for a background light and this one worked perfectly. Good quality, weight, stability and adjustability.

I got this shortie pair that I can use at table top level for videos or photos or to help uplight a photo or supplement peripheral lighting. I have a Neewer backdrop stand and a set of their tall light stands. All are good quality, come in nice cases and the finish has stayed intact over time. I know these short stands will be just as good.

Used one of these on an international trip, and it performed just fine. We used it as a stand for our key light. It was plenty sturdy enough for my Amaran p60x with softbox attachment, and even though it was only a little less than 3ft/1m tall, we got them for their compact size when folded, and hoped we'd be able to find an extra chair or end table/coffee table to set them on to get them high enough for sitting interviews. No troubles there. We also used it on the floor with a light mounted on it to light the background of the room as well. Really my only complaint is that the picture makes it look like the base is much smaller than it actually is. As others have mentioned, it's over a foot in diameter (maybe .4 meters or so?). Just something to keep in mind when looking at the space you'll be using it in.

Works great, a must for back lighting subjects or low level lighting, it can take fairly large reflectors and reasonable size softbox or any other accessory. Good value for the money.

前に買ったのが、今回のよりも高いのにまともに動かないお品だったので、今回のが普通なのかもしれないが動きも良いし、とても良い品に思えます。今のところ全く問題なく動きますし安定もします。素材などから考えて思いものは難しいかもしれませんが、本体も軽くて持ち運びもしやすそうです。届いたばかりで耐久性はわかりませんがとりあえず良いと思います。

They work perfect for my setup and they are sturdy and don't move. I have an LED light on each of them and it handles it like a charm. Very Happy. Highly recommend to anyone. The Neewer brand have been very trustworthy. I have a lot of their products and never had an issue. Great to see the company offer affordable equipment and glad to see them prospering.

There are times when a standard height stand is just too tall, even when adjusted as low as possible. These are the perfect stands for this because they can be adjusted as low as 16" and up to 28". Perfect for back lighting, but I have also used one for the bottom softbox light when setting up for clam shell lighting. The legs are a bit difficult to sandbag because they are so short, but a large D ring will attach one of my sandbags to the post of the stand quite easily (do this before adding the monolight and softbox). I found that these stands work well for attaching speedlites, or even a small GoPro type camera easily because of the 1/4-20 threaded tip on them and placing them on tables, distant rocks, etc.

Needed some for table top speedlights. Build quality is good for these and at $18 for two your expectations aren't really high nor should they be. The leg spay isn't big so, there may be balance problems with some small softbox modifiers. May have to put a small sandbag to weight them. Action is ok and the locking is ok. If you literally need this as table top these are great for their size. These fit into a messenger bag for a compact grab and go set-up with my Canon M mirrorless rig.Did a single wrap using electrical tape on the inner shaft and that allows it to slide a bit more smoothly. It is fairly loose so this takes up some of the tolerances. Debated putting in a groove and an O-ring to see how well these might do with a sort of "air cushioning" but that's for off hours experimenting and not really necessary with speedlights...just fun to tinker a bit. :)Overall good and they work well as small reflector holders. Recommended for light duty tasks.
