Che dire, il miglior potenziometro che si può acquistare adesso sul mercato, progressivo, morbido come la seta

If you are into the pinky-volume swell while playing trick, this is the one you want. I have always loved Strats for that aspect. I recently installed a new volume pot location, in a cheap guitar to get that effect, but the stock pots were too stiff. Dropped this in and problem solved. I put one in my Strat about a decade ago and it's still working great - no issues. :)

This is a great potentiometer, but it is also the same exact thing as a Bourns 500k pot. I’ve had both, trust me. You’re basically paying extra for the YJM imprint, because you could get 4 Bourns pots for the price of 1 YJM.

Was looking for a good quality pot to replace the original on an old guitar and ordered this one. It's honestly so "fast" and smooth it almost feels broken to me. I'm used to their being a little drag on guitar knobs and this one has none. If you're doing any kind of swells or manual noise gating with your knobs, this one is for you. Very smooth and worked great.

I had heard allot about these potentiometers and I wasn’t disappointed. It was very quiet and had very low turning resistance, which makes violin effects a breeze.

no es lo que venden no lo recomiendo en absoluto ,si lo que quieres es un potenciometro con caracteristicas como los hacian antes de los 90 's tiene algo de rasposidad en el juego ,en si de abrir y cerrar el volumen o el tono segun el caso

Replacing some generic brand pots (tone and volume) in a custom built rig. Mechanical action is very smooth and super light (high speed). Adjustments to tone and volume work as expected. Don't know about longevity yet but they seem well built. Package arrived on time and as advertised.

First I'll start by saying I don't know how this pot is any different than a standard Bourns pot other than maybe the lubricant used (as advertised by SD). Bourns has always had very low friction, or loose feeling pots. I will say that this pot is indeed lower friction than other quality pots allowing quick movement, but it does not feel as smooth because of the thinner lubrication. Quality is good, and sound is good, but I probably won't purchase another. It is also important to note, the actual travel of the pot is not shorter than a normal pot. It is simply lower friction.Unlike other reviewers, I had no had issues with the taper on the pot. The volume swells nicely and I did not have to add a capacitor to preserve high frequencies when the volume was backed off. I suspect that the other reviewers may have damaged their pots during the installation process. The pot is only rated for 572 degrees F for 3 seconds (300deg C). A lot of people solder, myself included, at a much higher temperature typically (I normally solder at 660deg F). Either be quick with your soldering but not too quick you cause a cold solder joint, or turn your iron down to about 550 and buy yourself a little more time.Pros: Low friction as advertisedGood sound qualityGood taper (imho)Cons:Expensive compared to normal Bourns pots (You can buy 4 for the price of one YJM pot)Only comes in imperial sized from SD. If your guitar is drilled for metric (ESP, Ibanez, maybe others) you will have to drill the hole out wider to fit the shaft. I had to do this.Only comes in short shaft (so don't try to replace on certain Les Paul models without measuring first).I will probably just buy a standard Bourns pot if this one ever fails.

I bought this pot for my Fender Telecaster.Fender has used some really horrible cheap parts in many of their lower priced instruments. The switch and volume control in my Telecaster went bad, after much research I selected this replacement volume-pot from Seymour Duncan. This one is relatively expensive compared to the entire field of vendors but I've had great service and tone from Seymour Duncan pickups so I just bought this because I have faith in their quality.I love the ease with which this volume control spins, now it's fast and easy to adjust my volume.Quick delivery too.I would buy this again if I needed another one, very nice.Good music to all.
