I have this one in my electrical tool box. I use it to deburr EMT pipe and sharp utility box holes (when needed). The blades hold up really well.

I had been using another brand deburr tool until the locking collar broke off. This is overall much better. All metal should last a lifetime. Blades hold an edge well too.

Does exactly what it should. Deburs holes, tubes, cut edges and so on. Essential for aviation metal work and probably any other fabrication. Very nice quality and functions. Handle holds the bits and the holder extends to increase the reach.

I decided to spend the extra $10 (approx.) on this Shaviv compared to the OG plastic red handled deburring Shaviv. Glad I did. This beast has some weight to it, feels like Excalibur in your hand. Guaranteed to last a life time and more. A+ product.

This deburring tool works like a charm and is well built. Bits are easy to change and stay sharp for a long time. Great for taking off the sharp burrs when you cut pipe or tubing with and abrasive wheel or cutting/drilling holes in sheet metal.

The aluminum handle feels solid. Unlike its flimsy plastic counter part.

Cannot beat the shaviv quality. No frills it gets the job done 100% of the time. Even comes with spare blades

Love this deburring tool however it tends to rust very easily even from just light humidity in the air during summer so oil it up frequently. Mine literally rusted up over night and I was shocked BUT works excellent and I do on the flip side love how well it works in deburring not to mention the quick release swap out cutting blades. They swivel easily on curves as well and despite the rust issue above, I would recommend this to hobbyists needing a deburring tool. For what it's worth, I use mine in coin ring making.

This works really good on deburring the inner diameter on aluminum tubing - even holes as small as 5/16's can be deburred, maybe smaller- and it does it rather quickly- The blades must be made from a hardened tool steel because they're still deburring after hours of use. I like the fact that I will only have to purchase the blades in the future and not a whole new tool. I find that it's only practical for deburring inside of a drilled hole or at the tube ends- for outer diameter deburring i use a different tool that fits over the end of the tube- either tool or tube can spin to deburr and create a finished look.

Let me start by saying that I am not a professional metal worker by any means. I had used one of these many years ago, and it worked great. Recently I started working with some sheet metal, and after slicing through a pair of gloves, I decided that it was time to invest in one of these tools. As usual, it arrived quickly and with all the pieces intact (thanks Amazon shipping). Right away I put it to work, breaking all the ultra sharp edges on some steel pressing that I received. The unit sliced through the edges and left a nice radius on the edges of the steel. With the included changeable blades, you can work all sorts of contours. I find the product especially helpful if I am de-burring drilled holes or just smoothing an edge.I know there are more expensive units out there, but this one really works well and I highly recommend it.
