it is as bright as it claims and looks pretty cool. very easy hookup. but there are two things that make this not an ideal product. 1, it comes with an adhesive strip that is not very sticky for a car dash. I purchased a separate dash sticky pad to make it stay. 2, the speed is off by 2mph. I have multiple speed recordings device's in my vehicle and they all read the same. except this device. it shows a speed 2mph faster than actual.

It's pretty accurate up until 65 mph then it's about 4 mph off 66 and over. Also the reflection to the windshield makes it blurry, the tint provided was too distracting for me maybe I just need to use another tint film in the windshield but I ended up just taking the unit off.

This display is a true Heads-Up-Display (HUD). A true HUD shows information on your windshield. You can watch the road and car information without having to move your head down to the dashboard. It works by reflection. Along with MPH it shows RPM Alarm, Over Speed Alarm, Voltage Alarm, Water Temp, Engine Malfunction & Fatigue Driving. It only works for 2007 or newer cars, so check the requirements before ordering. It also plugs into the cars OBD2 socket which is usually on the left side of the under-dash and you will have to route the wire which is pretty easy. The display module needs to be stuck to the dashboard and angled up towards the windshield so use a good double-sided tape.

I only got this to make it easier to pay attention to speed while in heavy traffic, so I haven't tried many of the other features, but it seems very accurate, matching the vehicle's speedometer within 1 mph at speeds over 60 mph. I can confirm that it does work on my 2007 Ford Expedition. I simply plugged it in to the OBD port, and it worked from the start. When I park, it shuts off after about 20 seconds, automatically. It comes on automatically when I start the vehicle. I cannot imagine anything simpler, as the default settings are just fine as they are, and it truly is just "plug and play".Just be sure to clean your dash well before using the two sided tape, as it doesn't seem to stick very well. I've had to use my own preferred 2-sided foam tape to hold it in place.
