Dynamo hub connection for the Shimano/Alfine system. This differs from the SON system I had originally on a different wheelset, so I had to cut that connection off and install this, which was something of a pain. Cutting and stripping the tiny insulated wires was microsurgery, and the holes in the connection are EXACTLY the same diameter as the stripped wires, causing bunching and snarling of wire strands, and a lot of foul language. But once you get it together, it's done.

Der Stecker passt an die üblichen Shimano Rabnabendynamos.Das anbringen ist sehr Simpel. Das die Löcher verschlossen sind ist so gewollt und richtig. Denn die sind nur mit einem Fett verschlossen, durch dass das Kabel einfach durchgesteckt werden kann. Hierdurch wird eine Dichtigkeit gegen feuchtigkeit erreicht. Also Bohren oder sowas absolut unnötig.m.E. nur zu teuer für 2 Stück Plastik und ein wenig Fett

works as described for shimano dynamo.push wires through gray part (aligning ground icon with wire that shows the same). push in to black part. then that plugs into dynamo

In case the wire connector that came with the dynamo hub went lost or if the wheel with the hub gets switched between a couple of bikes with lights, then this connector is a must have.

My local bike shop didn't stock; this was what I needed to get my Dynamo lights running again. No instructions, but it's very intuitive if you've set up Dynamo lights before.

This little part is absolutely essential if you have an old Sram I-Light or Sanyo gen and the plug cracks from wear. Be warned that this type of connector can be difficult to remove once snapped in place. Some owners splice their wires and attach spade plugs to make it easier to remove the front wheel.
