My husband and I installed this rod on our back porch to hang outdoor curtains. The first set was simple to put together, and the second one took even less time.We ordered the extra-long size, so we added a second support bracket for better stability. The included bracket itself was solid and well-made—but the screws that came with it were disappointing. They broke during installation, and we had to replace them with sturdier ones from our own supply.Once installed with better hardware, the rod worked perfectly and looks great. For shorter runs, one bracket may be enough, but for anything longer, I definitely recommend two.Overall, it’s a great product that just needs slightly better installation hardware. I’d still purchase again.

Great quality, super sturdy and durable rod. Easiest install ever and looks great. We are utilizing it as a curtain rod for one are, and it’s perfect. Super stable no matter what, heavy curtains and all.

This bar is perfect! I can use it anywhere I want in the home because I got the rod with the extension. Currently, this rod is above our washer and dryer just slight above the opening of the cabinets above our machines so that we can still open the cabinets without this rod getting into the way. We no longer need a drying rack because this rod is sturdy, and it looks great in the laundry room

Using this to hang curtains as a room divider for my office.(Sorry I know this isn't the point for 99.99% of people buying this but it's my only frame of reference) My cat has already climbed halfway up them, then got scared when he realized there was no wall behind it to support him, then flailed around aimlessly as he tried to free his claws - which is when I finally managed to grab him in an attempt to help, but this just freaked him out more and ended up yanking hard on the curtains, putting quite a bit of stress on the tension rod, I'd imagine.This excessively silly and erratic behavior has brought down several tension rods over the years, but not this one. Did not budge in the slightest. That was my biggest worry so I'm giving this 5 stars.
