Had an older mat that worked well and released paper easily. Now it seems too strong making it somewhat problematic to use—miss my old mat.

These Silhouette mats always work like I need them to! The SIlhouette is my crafting tool and having these mats line up perfectly every time keeps waste down!

I do not like this design. I’d much prefer the bigger boxes as it’s easier to see where the 1” lines are.

I hated the mat that came with my cricut machine. It was way too sticky and was ripping my cut stickers, so I tried out this one. What a world of difference!!! So much better for using to cut out my stickers on. Definitely recommending this mat for sure!

This is exactly like the mat originally with the machine. It is incredibly sticky so if you’re using paper or card make sure you “destick” the mat first by patting it with a towel or t-shirt. There is a less sticky mat available but I’ve never tried it.This mat is great quality, my original one lasted over a year with frequent use and I use the blue sheet to keep it covered when not in use. I’ve not tried any other brands of mats so can’t compare them, but unless I need to replace more frequently I’ll stick to the Silhouette ones

I am fairly new to Silhouette products in general and didn't know this existed until recently. I really trashed some paper using the regular tack mat. I blotted the mat with a clean t-shirt as suggested to remove some of the 'tack' but that sucker was still *really* sticky!The light hold mat is wonderful! It holds my card stock and sticker paper in place and allows me to remove it easily after cutting without spending the next 20 minutes peeling away scraps of ripped paper. Frustration free? Yes!

Fantastic! If you're looking for a cutting matt that can do light paper or card stock OUT OF THE PACKAGE, this is it. I was fed up trying to "de-stick" the standard matt using the t-shirt method, etc. Should have bought this at the onset as it's integral for anyone doing detailed paper based craft.

Finally a light hold cutting mat so we can cut paper and not have it stick to the mat and rip apart. This is the perfect amount of stickiness. It did lose it stickiness and become not quite sticky enough after a few dozen uses but I gave it light spray with a fabric adhesive from the fabric store and it was "just right" again. The alternate solution was to take the regular adhesive cutting mat and rub a bath towel on it until it had so much lint that it was a "light hold' mat and wouldn't rip your paper.

Livraison rapide, article reçu en moins de 48h sans supplément.Tapis de transport à faible adhérence parfait pour le papier fin que je découpe.Le format convient aux feuilles A4 et peut être utilisé dans la silhouette cameo ou dans la silhouette portrait.Je tiens à souligner le professionnalisme de ANKERSMIT (vendeur auprès de qui j'ai acheté le produit): j'ai commandé des articles pouvant être utilisés dans un modèle de machine mais pas une autre et une personne m'a appelée pour vérifier que je ne l'avais pas fait par erreur. Ceci s'est passé un 20 décembre, soit 5 jours avant Noël! Je suis admirative de cette façon de faire et j'espère que cela continuera car cela fait la différence entre une machine et des humains qui réfléchissent. Bravo. Je recommanderai volontiers chez eux.

I bought this because I lost my regular portrait mat (I have no idea how). I was VERY skeptical that this would be any different than the regular one, but in actuality it worked great! My first use with it was for stickers and the back got stuck on one spot only and I was able to carefully remove it without completely ruining my project. With the original mat, the back of the sticker paper would always get stuck and I would have a gigantic mess. This was a very good alternative to it.The price on Silhouette America's website for this is $12.99 currently. I got it on here for about $6.50 which is a great price. These are not sold at my local craft store so my only options are to buy on Amazon (or other online retailers) or to make one myself. Personally, this was a good price in my opinion and it really worked well for the majority of my projects.
