Replaced all prior Heads with four (4) of these puppies. These Balls and Heads perform in creative positions - what more could one ask for?

Build is good quality. Weight a bit heavy. Ease to use. My item was missing a 3/8"" to 1/4"" thread adapter.

I want to make a detailed review of my experience with this product. The included bag is a nice touch that comes with it but this is where the quality drops severely. The product doesn't seem well-built for the price. The clamp that comes with the unit that puts tension on the spring that locks the plate is very loose. The other issue is that when my camera was attached. Nikon d850 and 24-70 the base plate below the head that is used for panning starts to move up and down a lot with play. It can't hold the weight of this setup even though it's well within range. I ordered a replacement for this issue to happen on that as well as the loose clamp. Adjusting the tension doesn't do anything to help it its the physical lever that is loose and very annoying. The entire thing also feels cheap and flimsy.I purchased a used Right Stuff Bh-40 and those things blow this out of the water in terms of quality. I have no loose lever or movement up or down the base when the camera is attached. I'm not saying this to plug RRS but I would avoid this Ball head.

I absolutelyy love the products fron Sirui. I heve used them for years. Sirui upgrades their products continually. With lightweight Suirui heads , carbon monopod and carbon tripod legs, I can still carry large lenses and/or pro audio recorders and microphones. I understand the company is pronounced 'Soo-ray"
