This daypack hiking rucksack is reasonably well made and designed. It's comfortable to wear thanks to the woven components around the straps. the zippers are of good quality and the upper material is water repellent to an extent. It isn't high-end but for the price of £27.99 it's very good as a mid-range rucksack for a day out.

Wore it on the snowdon peak trek. Its comfortable. The waist strap keeps the load off the shoulders.

I like having lots of backpacks for different purposes. I saw this pack and it screamed to me "day hikes." Unfortunately, the shoulder strap phone holder is too small for my 6.29 inch tall phone to be practical because I like to take it out often to take pictures in nature. This pack has a good build and it was clearly designed by a thoughtful person. I didn't know before purchasing, but I do not care cosmetically for the spiderweb-like shoulder straps (for wicking sweat away I guess?) or the yellow sternum strap clasps.Pros:Ample loops inside and outside the pack to hold things - best featureFirm back supportWater bottle holder on both the left and right sides is a good size and elasticity. * Note no oversized water bottle will fit. A typical 2.5 inch wide water bottle fits fine...Comfortably holds my 13.3 inch laptop and protects about 11+ inches under a compartmentNeutral:Storage is 15 liters - It feels like enough storage for a day or a short weekendCons:I have a 6.29 inch by 3.02 inch Iphone Pro Max with a rubber case on it. I had to train my iPhone Pro Max to fit in iPhone pocket. It is a true hassle getting it and out. Three outings trying this pack and it is still frustrating - worst problem of the packSpiderweb looking shoulder straps maybe to wick sweat away, but they really don't look good to meYellow clasps for sternum straps when undone can be distracting in your peripheral vision when looking around

At £36.99 (Cost at time of review) I would say this is not cheap, but definitely not robust or high-end either. All the materials and overall build quality is average and I would expect it to last a considerable time in typical conditions, however I would not feel comfortable pushing its limits. The attached tag does not give any information pertaining to its waterproofness, or really any information other than “Safety, Original and Durable” and a bit about the company itself. The shoulder straps are not padded at all, but at the same time they are very wide distributing the weight nicely and very comfortable. I love the phone pouch option and found it works great, alloying easy quick access to my phone while on the go, not having to rummage through pockets.I recently tried TEMU to see what it was all about and bought a bag very similar in designto this one and it cost less than a 3rd of what this one cost. Not surprisingly everything about it was trash. The bag looked like a cheap knocked off version of it own knock off look. The zips failed after two days and it was uncomfortable. On the other end of the spectrum I have a Swiss bag that cost me nearly £200 and it is all kinds of amazing and rugged. As you would hope for the price. This bag perfectly sits somewhere in the middle. Average quality with an average price. I like it.

Just how light this BP is (empty), is surprising. This will be my go-to backpack for summer bike rides. Think tee-shirt and shorts, and heat index in the 90s. Not that it can't do for cold weather hikes, but the key differentiations are the breathability and light weight.A great feature is the zippered pocket on the left shoulder strap. A covered pocket for ready access WHILE you're wearing the backpack. This is also the first suggestion: make it a bit bigger. The phone in the picture almost fits, while the phone that took the picture does fit. Yes, that's just one scenario for that pocket (though likely a common one).On a hike or bike ride, a brief shower is always a possibility, even when the forecast says otherwise. The material (but not the breathable straps) is water resistant. You and what's in the exterior pockets will get wet - but you will want what's in the zippered pockets to stay dry. Covering the zippers with a bit more fabric ought to do that. The lower connector strap has more than enough length to accommodate most physiognomies. The strap length is also adjustable at the back and at the front clips: so excess strap can be arranged to hang off the back. This is not the case for the shoulder and upper connector straps: hanging in front they can whip around. Some way to secure the excess would help.I think this pack is best suited for a light load when hiking or biking. When you get off the bike, you can carry things you don't want to leave on the bike - but light but bulky items (sweatshirts, towels, swim goggles...) in this lightweight pack might have you forget you're even wearing a backpack.

The emergency instructions in English and German are amusing though probably not useful for me. The shoulder pocket fits my phone (just over 6x3x0.5 inches) nicely but is probably too small for larger models. The zipper makes that pocket secure but does make it harder to quickly access the phone. There are many useful pockets on this pack, with the side mesh pockets large enough to hold my water bottles (3 inch diameter x 9 inches tall) securely - though frankly, I'll use the hydration bladder and so those pockets become the poop bag pockets. The waist belt is nicely adjustable, with the extra strapping at the back rather than the buckle, which is a nice feature I've not seen before. The chest strap has limited adjust-ability but I can work with it on the highest of the 4 options. I like how lightweight yet structured the pack is. I don't love the color but it is neutral and not black so that's okay. The size is really nice, not too tall or too wide. I also like that the shoulder straps are about 4.5 inches apart at the top, so I don't feel like my neck is getting squeezed. Overall, this is a nice little daypack.

Lightweight enough for day trips with good capacity. Good support on the back so things don't dig into your back. Lots of adjustment in the straps.

When this says small it means it! Would be good for youth or smaller man. The start goes across the chest and only in a position that doesn’t work well for women. Other than that it’s wellMade and a good value.

I got this for day hiking and to replace my bulky camera bag. I have a Canon R5 and big lenses (RF70-200 F2.8, RF100-500). As this pack isn't meant to be a camera bag it needs a little adaptation to serve my use and of course it limits what I can carry. I've slipped in a sheet of high density foam into the outer pocket to pad between a lens and the main pocket. The the outer pocket can hold up to the RF100-500 without a lens hood, if I remove the foam pad I like to use I can leave the foot on. This leaves the main pocket for a camelback, snacks, a towel, etc. I generally carry the camera on its own strap with my main lens of choice for the day. My Ulanzi Zero tripod can go in the pack if I want to bring it - the side pockets aren't deep enough to confidently secure it, even with the elastic strings near the top of the outer pocket assisting.- This bag has a firm backplate to keep its contents from causing you much discomfort.- Both the left and right straps have passages for a hydration tube, USB power, etc.- Fantastic range of adjustability to wear it high or low. I would have liked it if the shoulder straps had retainer loops to tuck the long pull straps into when worn high (they are quite long).- My Pixel 7 Pro, with a fairly heavy case, does just barely fit in the phone pouch and I can just barely zip it closed. I would have liked it if the pouch had been a touch larger and zipped up from both sides.- The shoulder straps seem very comfortable so far - I've yet to take a full day hike with the pack, if my opinion on this changes once I get the chance I'll come back and update this review.
