Perfect for anything you may need. I use it as a book bag (fits my 13” MacBook) and when I go Paddle Boarding. Easy to clean.Only thing that isn’t great is the side mesh for water bottles is pretty stiff and won’t fit anything except a skinny plastic bottle.

Great size for hiking, I fit my snacks water bottle and other random things I needed when on hikes.

Prefect for a day hike. Holds all the essentials. Lightweight

This was purchased for a two-week trip to Switzerland. Lots of train and foot travel. I used it as my daypack while packing it down into my suitcase for long travel days when I used a large backpack. No rips, tears, split seams despite all the cheese and chocolate I shoved in this thing. :)My only critique is in the design of the side pouches. I wish they were a little looser to allow easier water bottle storage. It has a pouch for a hydration pack, but I preferred not having a tube flopping around while I was moving around.Otherwise, the size was perfect for what I needed to carry, usually a compressed rain jacket or two, small umbrella, water (minus points for the tight side pocket fit), and ample space for souvenirs/snacks/sacks of croissants. I never felt like I was hauling around too much backpack. Since returning I've used it for a couple daytrips where I didn't feel I need my bigger hydration pack for short hikes or snow shoeing.

This backpack was just what I was looking for. A great day-pack for hiking. Big enough to fit wallet, phone, keys and the essentials like a water bladder, food, and a layer of clothing without having a super bulky bag on your back. It looks exactly like the photo. I also love the pull tab zippers - it was a nice touch. companies don’t always add those anymore. The fabric def feels water proof; however, I haven’t tested it. But I also am not one to hike in the rain so that feature wasn’t a deal maker or breaker for me.

Make sure you like this one before you buy it - the seller charges $6.66 for a USPS return shipping label. No other return options available.About the pack: it’s cute and comfy. The side mesh pockets fit a larger water bottle (I have a 26oz yeti) and the back has a foam cushion to soften contact against your back and keep the bag upright. Otherwise, it’s a floppy bag. It doesn’t work for me because I don’t like the top opening. I’d have to reach in elbow deep to grab something from the bottom and the drawstring is tough to open. It would be difficult to see inside while rummaging through. Also, it doesn’t have many pockets. Just a small one outside on the top of the bag and one inside. It’s cute but it isn’t functional.I opted for a Cotopaxi 16L Del Dia backpack and for the small price difference, it was a no brainer to get a name brand and superior quality pack.

About a month ago I got this backpack to carry my water bottles and a light jacket in when going out for hikes. So far I've hiked nearly 50 miles with this thing on all across Arizona and I really love it. I have packed it to the brim in the past with two 32 oz hydroflasks, a portable charger, a rolled up jacket, a tupperware container, and some smaller snack bags.. The arm straps have loops along your front side so you can quickly tie a bandana or a trekking pole or hook a carabiner onto the backpack without taking it off. In AZ you'll sweat plenty with this pack on, but the padded mesh back definitely helps with airflow. The only thing this backpack is missing is trekking pole loops or straps along the sides of the back. Luckily I was able to affix my trekking poles to the top handlebar strap and one of the loops that go down the center using velcro straps (see photo).
