Been less that two years. Battery is now dead and won’t charge. It began working well then it started dying after an hour of use. Then 30 minutes of use. Then died altogether.

This battery fit my Dell laptop perfectly, was exactly the correct rating and worked great the first time I powered up my laptop with the new battery. My original battery had failed and I needed to replace it in order to use my laptop with battery backup. Works great and my laptop runs perfectly. Battery price and deliver were excellent!

Super easy install and works fine. Gives me over 4 hours of run time on my 10 year old laptop. It has performed well for a couple weeks now, but that isn't long enough to comment about longevity.

I have an older Dell computer that still worked great, decided to gift it to my mom but I needed a new battery. This battery is awesome, holds a long charge and works great. Was packaged well!

My Inspiron 3521 laptop is getting pretty ancient and is now well past what Dell considers "End of Life". I'm not quite ready to let it go yet, as Linux runs well on it and it has yet to show its age for simple games and tasks. Understandably the factory battery had finally gotten pretty weak after years of use and hundreds of recharge cycles.This replacement lasts at least 3 hours before needing a charge. I have only had it for a few months, so I won't give it a "Longevity" rating, but so far I'm satisfied with it.

As a lurker, I am satisfied to give my first review. The reviews here give this product virtually 5 stars. I give it the same because it, per product description of compatibility, fits a Dell Inspiron 3521 properly, although it is insignificantly more snug than OEM. The laptop recognizes the battery upon pressing the power button, giving an initial battery reading of 73%. After connecting the laptop adapter, the battery is able to be charged. Also, this battery has the same specs as the OEM in terms of charge properties.If anything should change, I will update this review. But this product beats the top batteries on the 4-5 star filtered page that claims to be compatible to the aforementioned model, e.g. Solice's brand. If you are buying a replacement battery, I advise to research your model to see if the product descriptions match. Sometimes, as in my case, seeing other reviews of a laptop's model battery replacement does not necessarily mean it will fit your laptop or work. Before this review, all other reviews here were positive without mentioning a specific model. Thus far, I want to confirm for others that it works for Inspiron 3521.

I have just gotten the battery 2 weeks ago and it's working fine. It has a very good price and the most bang for the buck.1. It's a six cell, 65Wh rather than a four cell battery, which, for some of us might be how the original battery came with. In fact Dell sells in their website a four cell, rather than a six cell battery for this model.2. It has Grade A cells3. It has built-in circuit protection (not every battery of this model has built in protections)4. CE-/FCC-/RoHS-Certified for safety (not every battery of this model has all these certifications; don't know what they mean but more the better, I thought)5. 24 x 7 email support (most provide that but not all)6. 12-month hassle-free warranty.(some companies that sell this model offer 90 days or so warranty but no one offers more than 12 months)After a lot of research, this was, for me, the battery that had the most features for the least price. How it works in the long run, is a different story, we just have to wait and see; However, I rationalized that no other battery, no matter the price, can offer you a guaranteed peace of mind beyond the 12 months and things could happen with 50-150$ battery but at least you are not out 50$-1$150 but only 20 bucks and the fact they stand by their product for 12 months was a good sign.
