I like that it’s very sturdy. My only issue is that the size I need is right between using one tension rod and another. But my biggest bit of advice is be patient. I fell to the temptation to stretch it too fast, and I ripped out the rivet on my jeans. I have one stretching for several days now and we’ll see how it works.

Useful. The area to put in the area to be stretched needs to be wider, otherwise it is hard to keep on the spot to be stretched.

I think I ordered the large and it was two small. Looked a little complicated. I ended up giving it away.

It works pretty good but got only 4 stars for 2 reasons. First, the part that comes into contact with the pants is wood. The best way to stretch pants is wetting them first then letting them dry. Wood and wet don't do well together. Although it would have been a more expensive tool, aluminum or covering this part with something non permeable material would have been better. But if you don't use item a lot, not a issue. Second issue is again the part that comes in contact with the pant waist is too slim. The width of the curved stretcher part is 1 1/2 inches. This just barely covers the inside of my pants and waistband. 2", or 2 1/2", would have been better. I solved both issues with the tool by adding a small curved section of pvc pipe to the wooden stretcher part with screws and also added a inch to make it wider. Solved both problems. Beyond this it's a good product. You don't need that much force to stretch the wet pant waist with the turning knob. Built good, no plastic parts, all metal and wood. Also I added a section from a old tape measure so I could tell how much it being stretched.

Be careful when ordering this - for the advertisement is misleading. I wanted to stretch a garment out to 38" and purchased the 22" to 38" model. That one did not even get close to 38" for the waistline I wanted stretched.I contacted the company by Email and they replaced my purchase by sending me the 30" to 59" model, with no hassle along with a shipping label for the return.Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it for durability and of course, stretching a pair of Levi's.

Bought the smaller size for kids jeans. He's built a little different than others, so before I had the stretcher, it was buying very tight jeans in the waist that fit his legs, or fit the waist and have to roll up or hem the legs. This product easily gave him another 1" or so, now his smaller jeans fit great. Easy to use, but you have to use care stretching clasps or buttons too far. (A non marking clamp type strain relief would make a good addition to this line) Overall a great product, I might consider the larger sizes for my own someday. Impressed with the quality it was crafted with, would definately buy again if needed.

This item does exactly what it claims to do. You get a better stretch if the item is wet while stretching. I was going to donate some old favorite jeans because the waist "shrunk". The stretcher gave me the extra inches I needed and I'm wearing my old favorites again. This item is sturdy and gets the job done!
