You don't know how much you NEED this Coffee Mug Warmer with Auto Shut Off for Home Office Desk Use,Touch Control Tech Safety and Smart Temperature Settings for Coffee, Milk, Tea, Water (White)until you have it...and once you have it, you'll never want to go without it! Seriously! I tend to drink my coffee slowly, which always lead to me drinking my coffee COLD. My kids gave me this coffee warmer as a gift, and now I swear I can never live without it! I LOVE IT! I love how I can adjust the temperature so that it's not TOO HOT (did I really just say that lol), and it allows me to take my time and enjoy my coffee! It's the coolest thing that I never knew I wanted - and now I can't live without! If you're debating getting this, just DO IT! It's awesome!!!

This device works pretty well. As it says- it won't heat cold liquid, nor will keep your liquid very hot. What I've noticed is that it will keep the last of the liquid warm enough for a satisfying 'last gulp'. Like, you know how tea or coffee is too hot at first... then eventually it's the perfect drinking temperature and then WHAM- the rest is too cold to drink. Well, this gets rid of the 'the rest is too cold to drink'. With this mug warmer, the last bit is satisfyingly warm enough to pick up and down the final amount and still be reasonably warm.I like that you plug it in to the wall, not a usb port. I believe that gets you a hotter warming plate than a usb model will be.It does suffer from a design flaw that I think all warmers have a problem with. Take your ceramic coffee mug and feel underneath. Feel how there's a lip? How the 'actual' bottom of the mug is raised up a bit from the bottom edge? If not, if your mug is all flat from side to side, then great! But most of my mugs, the bottom is 'raised up' slightly from the rim bottom. And yes- that means that less of the mug is touching the hot plate and so, isn't really getting warmed much. As it happens, most of my mugs' rims sit just -outside- the heating circle. Most of the other warmers I've looked at seem to have similar design issues. Certainly I'll be on the lookout for mugs that have a completely flat bottom.(How the device warms was tested using the above described coffee mugs. A perfectly flat bottom, or a mug with a circumference smaller than usual so that it sits directly on the pad, would certainly heat better.)My only other observation is the auto-shut off timer is set for 8 hours. That seems extensive. I think a timer with about 4 hours would be perfect. If you've left your drink for longer than 4 hours you should just get yourself another drink.But otherwise, simple and easy to use, does heat well, and would make a decent gift.

I thought this concept was a little silly but thought it was worth a try. I was really impressed with how much it improved the experience of drinking a warm beverage. I am just so used to the last third of my drink being cold. I always have the problem that when I am sick, I make a big mug of tea and it never stays hot for long enough. Next time I get the sniffles this will be a life saver. The device is lightweight and easy to use.

This little cup warmer is all right I guess, although I think maybe I was expecting a little more.The unit is lightweight with a moderate-length cord. The light glows red when you press the button to turn it on. I found it very hard to see where they have it placed; if you have an oversized cup on the warmer it can be difficult to reach.You will need to reach that power button because as you are taking a sip of your drink, the unit decides you are done and turns itself off. I thought that was an 8-hour deal but whatever.In all honesty, I did not get this to use to warm coffee, although my first trials were hot water in a coffee cup. The water did stay a good temperature for warm beverages during that testing. I actually got this to keep wax warm but not hot while getting ready to pour (I tested this and it worked great - I used it to get wax out of a mason jar as well and it worked great for that), and also for preparing resin for any special techniques that I may use (I have not tested this yet.)The unit itself got kind of warm, but not an unreasonable amount. The surface of the device is glass or glass-like and I found the clinking noise when setting down cups and mugs to be a bit unsettling. I also wish there was more than one temperature setting to give it a little more versatility.My main issue is the power indicator - the placement of it is just not well designed. The fact that I keep having to hit it to turn it back on was not happy-making (and the area where the button is located gets pretty warm as well).

I enjoy hot tea every day. Often it goes too cool for me as I do things while drinking it. Thus cup warmers are a must. This warmer is a step up from my old one. It keeps the tea warmer than my old one, which is a plus. It is smoother, and the whole top of the warmer is available, rather than having a rim as my old one has. Thus this one will work for large bottomed cups. It is a must that the cup is a flat bottomed cup or it will not work on any cup warmer. My old one is still usable but will be put where I don't sit often but when I do, I'll have the warmer for my tea & this one will be where I am the most. Despite other reviews, I find my warmer is keeping my tea very warm, almost hot. The cord is shorter than I would like.
