Excellent lock, easy to install and to set up on your smart phone. It comes with a Bluetooth/Wireless gateway that needs to be plugged in within 5M of the installed lock if you want remote lock/unlock feature including connecting to Google Home and Alexa. It also comes with two mini cards which can be easily programmed. The only thing I wanted to make clear, is that after you have paired the lock to the gateway and you are in the process of adding the lock to Alexa, although the instructions say search for the "NewLock Skill" for Alexa, this did not appear on the known skills. Search for ScienarSmart (which Google Home uses) and install that instead. It worked perfectly for me and I can now lock and unlock my door via Alexa (after setting up a voice code).

I couldn’t be happier with this smart lock! As someone who absolutely dreads installing anything, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to set up. I highly recommend having a locksmith drill the holes in your door for a perfect fit, but once that’s done, the actual installation of the lock is a breeze. There are step-by-step YouTube videos available that guide you through the process, making it super straightforward even for someone like me.The lock works flawlessly. The fingerprint reader is incredibly fast and accurate, unlocking the door almost instantly. The app is intuitive, and the lock itself is packed with features while still being user-friendly. I also love the value for money—this lock offers so much more functionality at a better price than my old Nest lock, which I didn’t like nearly as much.If you’re on the fence about upgrading your lock, go for it. It’s a great product that combines convenience, speed, and security into one sleek package. I highly recommend

Living alone in a ground floor unit with a front door accessible from the street and sidewalk, I'm a little extra cautious about keeping my door locked. It was always a pain if going for a quick walk or just going around back to water plants to have to take a key with me (sometimes no pockets!) and this has made life so simple! My thumbprint is my key! If im returning from the grocery store carrying bags, no need to struggle with keys! Thumbprint doesn't always work if hands aren't dry due to rain or whatever, but that's ok because I can still unlock from the app on my phone or by punching in a code. The ability to create codes for temporary access is useful, sometimes you need a friend or neighbor to be able to enter but maybe you don't want them to always have a key. I was able to install easily and quickly without assistance.

I love this lock, I got it for a side garage door that we use to get in and out of the house, the fact that you can use your fingerprint is a no brainer, I did also activate the keycards to give to two neighbors that watch the house every so often, I went ahead and added a code also but since I use the fingerprint I haven’t had the need for the code at all, and I almost forgot one of the main reasons I got this lock, it self locks after a set time, no more wondering if you lock the door after you left.I did have to contact customer service for the gateway help but they responded super fast and followed up with me .

I’ve had a lot of door locks and this is the only one I’ve ever uninstalled and switched out after setting up.I had a number of issues with this item.1) Complicated to set up compared to other devices2) very noisy with its alerts and sounds, locking mechanism is also very loud3) forces you to 6 digit code plus # digit to open4) finger prints almost never worked and had to delete, or reset multiple timesWe removed and replaced and are much happier with the other item.

Bought a different brand smart lock first and it would not connect to our alexa. It was hard to use and figure out. I returned it and bought this Smonet Smart Lock. The first lock I received wasn't working properly. I contacted customer service and Helen helped me troubleshoot and when we couldn't fix it they sent me a new one. The new one works great and it was easy to connect to our Alexa. I would recommend this lock and will purchase this brand again.

Day 1: 5 stars. Easy assembly. Easy to setup the IC cards, fingerprints and the remote unlock. All worked with no problem. I didn't realize it came with the gateway- Amazon's recommendations made it sound like people were buying gateways in addition to this. Came with 3 keys also (anyone with kids...you know this is a big deal vs 2 keys). The app shows the battery life of the lock which alleviates some fear that I had with my previous lock keypad lock. The phone notifications and Entry log are a nice bonus (the log shows the method used to enter also), though I don't know if I'll end up using them (probably good for a business). When trying to send an invite link to my wife it wouldn't let me change the country to USA (instead of Canada) so hopefully that doesn't actually matter.Some things that weren't clear in the instructions that I'd like to know. How long does the Gateway battery last? Or does it always need to stay plugged in?I had to get rid of my last keypad lock (different brand) because the 'motor' broke after just a few months so the keypad became useless. Regardless of the brand, that was my biggest concern with my next purchase. We will see if this one can take a beating!
