I do a lot of catering jobs, and I often spend days prepping for them. After all that prep work, and then putting on the event itself, the last thing I want to deal with is cleaning. So liners like these are absolutely indispensable in my opinion. I go through a lot of these, because I have nearly a dozen large roaster pans, food warmers, etc. that I use for my serving line. These fit perfectly, work perfectly, set up easily, and make cleaning a complete non-issue. They're not super thick or sturdy, but they hold up okay as long as you don't puncture them with a serving fork or something. At more than 2 bucks each, they're a bit on the pricey side, but are still worth it in my opinion, because the time they save is worth more than that to me. Overall, if you aren't using these, whether for work or for home, why not? Isn't it worth a couple bucks to be able to put your feet up and relax after a long day of cooking? It is to me.

I ordered these bags like everyone else thinking they were for roasting meat.I also was surprised to find that they were for stew/soup.Honestly, I never thought to make soup or stew in my roaster, so I thought what the heck, lets give this a shot.I made a double batch of Chicken Hominy stew so I had plenty for work, and quick dinners later.Reading the instructions I found that there needed to be a water barrier, the suggestion was 1-2 cups. I actually used closer to 4 as i wanted the entire bottom covered as there is a slight rise in the middle. I am glad that I did because there was only about a cup and a half of the water left after 9 hours of cooking.I turned on the roaster to 200f as I was going to slow cook it throughout the day.The bag was laid on top, and there was plenty of room for a larger pan.Sorry, I don't know how big mine is, but it is very large.I added the ingredients and put the lid on.After I got off work, the soup was done and I gently scooped it out with a plastic measuring cup.I am pleased to report that the bag did not rip or tear during any part of the process.Once I got down to the end there was about 2 cups left that is always hard to get out.I gently lifted the bag and poured out the remaining contents.Overall, it did keep my roaster clean, and performed as promised. Will I make soup in my roaster again? Probably not.But if I did I would for sure use another liner.

What more can I say? I wished I had discovered these SMARTAKE Electric Roaster Liner bags a long time ago. Easy to use and makes cleanup of that big roaster pan a simple task, instead of unending scrubbing. These will be a permanent part of my cooking supplies for the roaster, which we utilize often. The manufacturer has restrictions on how to use with a max heat of 350°, but so far I have had no problems. Satisfied with the quality and performance of the product!

I use these to line my 20 quart roasting pan. It worked as advertised however you must read the directions. The liner can melt if the pan gets too hot. Otherwise it works well. It makes cleaning the pan a breeze. I had no trouble with anything sticking. In the bag did not break. It remained pretty sturdy. I would use these again.
