Pairing Sensors to Pagers
smpl Alerts Sensors & Pagers purchased in kits are paired to factory settings. To pair smpl Add-On Sensors to Pagers, or to adjust Pager volume and/or melodies from factory setting when purchased in Kits, follow these three easy steps.
- 1. Select the Melody and Volume level preferred using inset buttons shown
- 2. Press the Melody Change button for 5 seconds to enter setup mode
- 3. Trigger the specific Sensor your setting up quickly and your all set!

The smpl Alert Kit is simple to install and use. The wireless Sensors include a pre-installed battery and double-sided tape for installation in minutes. The smpl Pager and Sensors come paired right out of the box if bought as a kit. No internet, Bluetooth, wiring or any additional fees are required! The portable and vibrating Pager can be clipped to a belt, placed in your pocket, or simply put on a table.

Alerts & Sensors
Install Motion Sensors in any room, hallway or area.
Motion Sensors can detect movement within 20 ft. of install location. Installation location is 3-4 ft. from the floor, using the included double-sided tape.
Install Door Sensors on virtually any door, cabinet or window.
Door Sensor (Sensor and magnet) can be installed as much as ¾ inch apart when the monitored door/window/cabinet is closed. Install in minutes with pre-installed double-sided tape.
The SOS/Help Pendant is a home or work based emergency or help ‘call’ button.
Whether an emergency or if they just need assistance, when the ALERT button is pressed, the smpl Pager alerts the caregiver/manager that help is immediately required (when help is within 250 ft. or less).
This offers caregivers/managers more independence to accomplish other tasks within 250 ft. of the care recipient/employee and still be available when any help is required quickly.

My Auntie is in assisted living facility, however, we installed one motion sensor in the restroom so the nurses and aids would know that she would need assistance in the restroom. However, it has well worked out so well. The owner of the facility loves it and now we’re going to add another pager to some other aids and we’ve already bought another sensor and we’re going to test it out in another little ladies Apartment. Hoping that two pagers can be on one motion sensor, so if one goes on break, they’ll be a back up lady to assist these two women’s in two different rooms. Thank you awesome pager

The default alarm on the unit is over the top. Sounds like Three Mile Island nuclear accident. User has to jump through some sequential hoops to activate a reasonable doorbell type sound. Other than that-- works well.UPDATE: The first one went rogue after about two weeks. Would sound whatever alarm at whatever volume it wanted, totally ignoring user settings. Returned it for a identical replacement. Four months later-- same thing. Have ordered a floor mat to be placed alongside the bed to notify me when my spouse tries to get up without help.

This Pager and Motion sensor are literally a life saver for the elderly. I have found that keeping the batteries fresh in the pager 4 triple AAA and a CR 2450 in the Motion sensor keeps them working properly.

I have purchased three of these. Two did not pair out of the box. After leaving a message with tech support and not hearing back for three days I emailed and they sent a replacement motion sensor. That was the first one. The second one didn't pair - I called and left a message for tech support - did not hear back. Emailed, did not hear back. Got thru to someone other than tech and they tried to help but couldn't. Honestly - this works really well, when it works - it is always needed in an emergency situation - I don't know why they don't call back. The many alarm sounds are moot as the vibration is very loud. For those who found it inconsistent - I have not had that experience. It is a good, simple to use product (except for the pairing process and having to go thru the annoying alarm sounds....).

Has a delay, if your person is faster than a sloth, the movement window is not short enough to trigger the alarm consistently. Other than that it was fine. We need it to alarm when a special needs child got up out of bed, crossed through the bedroom door to the bathroom. It did not trigger most times. Very easy to install.

I needed to email SMPL, twice, to get essential steps necessary to set up the TV remote. These necessary steps had been omitted from the instructions that came with the new remote.
