The phone started buzzing on the second day randomly . Contacted Spectrum and they sent a new voip control box. Installed the new VoIP control box and we still have the buzzing noise. Bought a new cable to see if the noise was coming from the cable, still had the buzzing noise. Bought a cheap new land line phone and it is clear as a bell so the problem was the phone I bought through Amazon but by now it was past 30 days so I can’t return. Sent messages to Simpl no response. Don’t waste your money on their products.

Poor quality. Apparent there is no quality control where manufactured. I tested all features for 24 hours and no problems. After 2 weeks developed intermitant hum that made calls impossible. Would be great for elderly but have to keep sending them back. If all these products had a 12 month warranty their quality would have to improve. Negative ratings don't seem to have any effect on manufacturing quality.

If you push the button (with your photo on it) for three seconds or more, it deletes the pre-programed phone number! So, Mom has dementia, and I have to keep telling her to only push the button to the count of one or it will need to be reprogramed. I wondered why Mom stopped calling me, so I went to her place and saw my phone number was no longer programed. She must have pushed the button (my face) for three seconds or longer. Why would they make dementia phones that did that?? Should have been more like "push the button for ten seconds to re-program."

As my family member's abilities declined over the past couple of years, smart phones and then regular land-line type phones became too difficult for her to use. With its pictured dialing option, this phone is perfect for her and she can dial easily. Setup is easy, as is adding the photos. I recommend this phone.

I really wanted to like this phone. Love the big buttons, loud ringer and photo speed dial for my mom, who has dementia. Unfortunately, the audio quality for the person calling the phone is unbelievably bad. I've confirmed this is not an issue with our phone service, it is the poor quality of the handset mic on the phone.I suggest not buying this item until the company can fix this obvious issue.

Good phone that is easy to program. The only downside is that we want the volume of the handset to stay on loud, but every time you use it you it resets back to quiet and you have to push a button to make it go back to loud. My dad with dementia can't remember how to do that.

I ordered this for my mom with dementia. We had tried a cell phone but she never answered it and couldn't dial out even though I wrote out directions. But this phone is familiar to her. I am so happy that she answers it and has figured out how to call me and my dad (when he's in the hospital)!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
