Just an all around awesome tool if you live somewhere it snows. Both to pull off your roof and decks but your vehicles as well. Walked out to a foot of snow on your car? This thing will cut your brushing snow time in half. The only down side is it doesnt come with the pole but you can use others in a pinch. I used a long pole from a floor brush and got it to work. Sadly didnt have the full use of it being able to slide to different positions so i recommend getting the proper pole as well.

Do you expect to buy a car and then learn the steering wheel is sold separately? Would you buy a chair that didn't come with legs? If you answered yes, then this product is for you. Otherwise, you'll pay $60 for a piece of useless plastic. I could not believe the pole isn't included. That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

I've been using my big roof snow rake (12' long) to remove snow from my boat cover, but always thought it was too long and potentially too sharp and might someday tear the canvas.The long one is also very awkward to get at and maneouver around the boat, and (being aluminum) is fixed in size, width and length.This: lightweight, folds flat for storage and ease of access (genius!!!!!!) , AND you can use whatever pole works best for you. Super simple, super smart.Now I'll only need to haul out the big rake for extra heavy or long lasting snow falls - Yay!!!Recommended (for light duty raking, at least.)

Most important thing to know is that the pole/handle is sold separately. Otherwise, this is a very useful tool if you live where it snows a lot. As the snow builds on your roof and in your gutters and then goes through a thaw/refreeze cycle, the water can form an ice dam and back up over the gutter and seep into your attic causing substantial damage. This device allows you to pull the snow off from the edges of your roof and off of the gutter, so it doesn't back up and cause damage. Only thing you need is a long pole to screw into the device and your ready to go. Folds to make its footprint a bit smaller. Good value and almost a necessary tool where it snows.

I have three large plastic high tunnels (greenhouses) and from time to time we get a heavy snow that can threaten to pull them down, so I ordered this thinking I could mount it on a long extension pole I have to pull snow off the roof of the greenhouses.I have to say I was a bit disappointed when I received this item. It's decently built, but ultimately it's just three pieces of molded plastic and a couple of braces. It looks like it will probably work OK, although it's pretty lightly constructed and I have some concern about how the plastic will hold up in cold temperatures.My two main issues are these. First, since it comes without a pole, it needs to be attached to one to be used. I expected some kind of bracket so it could be adapted to a pole. Instead, there's just a threaded hole, so now I have to try to figure out what kind of thread they used, diameter, pitch, etc and fabricate an adapter to mount it. I have a lathe, and I can do that, but the vast majority of buyers would be out of luck. I assume it's a marketing tool to sell their poles to go with it, but it makes it pretty hard to actually use.Secondly, I feel it's priced at least twice what it's worth. I'm an old guy and cheap, but the price just seems excessively high to me for what you receive. I got this item through the Vine program, but if I had paid cash for it I would have returned it and gotten my money back, that's how I feel about the vaule/price ratio of this product.It's a good idea, with a little reworking to make it easier to use and a more reasonable price, it would be great, but I can't recommend it at this point.

The product is great and works as designed, but be aware there is no pole. It does say that in the description, but the picture shows one. I also cannot find the pole alone from the same manufacturer. I guess I will have to locate one at my local big box hardware store.
