This meter is helpful for maintaining proper moisture, fertility, and ph soil levels for healthy houseplants. It assured me I was doing the right thing for most of my houseplants and hopefully I can get my gardenia in top shape the main reason I got this meter

It worked well for 29 days and then it stopped working. Return window has closed. Bummer!!

I finally found a moisture indicator that is accurate! I tend to overwater, so this has been very helpful. The pH indicator and the nutrient indicator are also nice additions to the meter. The Screen is very easy to read. I bought several moisture meters and they’re all junk… I highly recommend this one!

This takes the guesswork out of trying to figure out if your house plants have enough water. Also used outside on my trees, confirm they are also getting enough water. Very easy to use, seems to be accurate. If you’re going to go into hard earth, you might want to take a long screwdriver and pre-make the hole.

I was about to leave a positive review because I have been using this the last week and I really thought it was a game changer for a beginner Gardner. Well, today as I am watering my plants (I have 174 currently in my tiny apt), and it just stopped working. I followed instructions exactly as written. I wiped down after each use, I didn’t keep in soil more than a few seconds, I did my put directly in water. After a week, It told me everything was dry, even plants that had just been watered. Pictures are my marigolds that I watered half an hour ago. It reads as bone dry. The soil is definitely very wet and not bone dry. I felt the soil on some plants after realizing the readings weren’t changing, and I could feel how wet they were and the device registered as far left on the dry scale. I have had this a week. This is not ok. I really wish it had lasted longer because it was really helping me, but now I have to find something else. What a waste of money.
