So I originally got this for a Bonsai tree because I’m awful at watering. I bought the 2 pack but only used one. I should have noticed that while the dial moved it never seemed to tell me that there was too much water, but I didn’t really think anything of it because the dial did move. Well now I have another flower I had to use the other indicator in and it told me right away that I was getting close to over watering it. I thought it was odd based off the reaction for the other indicator so I tried getting the 1st one to reach close to the overwatering stage…..I flooded my plant and it only move to the middle. So I took the indicator out and put it in a glass of water and sure enough it will not indicating that there is too much water in it even when submerged ….so it’s completely useless. These tools are not super cheap either so even though one worked. I missed the return window so I guess I’m keeping it. If you are planning on getting these items I would do some deep testing before thinking they actually work.Update 3/28/24So the customer service is really great so I went from one start to two. They said it was a bad batch but I still maintain that if you’re purchasing something like this you need to test it thoroughly. I will not be purchasing again because my tree and I have worked something out and decided it would be happy with my watering system I have.

this moisture meter is the berries...measures are quite accurate - no gardener should be without one. Actually everyone who grows plants indoors especially, should have one - they are truly indespensible. Great product.

I let them know. They said they’d refund 1/2 price through Amazon. No luck. Not worth the hassle. Lots of others out there.They came through with the refund. Good Customer Service there!
