I have never owned or worn a garment in this style. The culture from which it comes is quite foreign to me. I wanted to have something like this for the few occasions where I am invited to share an event with those who do frequently wear this style. So, I just need one long dress shirt for that purpose.This particular garment fails miserably for my needs, being such a tight fit. It is uncomfortable and worries me that it will split under the arms or somewhere as the fabric does not stretch at all. I chose the size that was larger than my actual measurements, but that was woefully short of what I needed. Two sizes more might accommodate me, but it is not available at Amazon. I have regular dimensions and am given to more than the usual exercise, so this was quite surprising.The collar is very short compared to American shirts-- barely more than an inch. The photo makes it look higher and the button panel wider than they are. The collar and button panel have the same width and fabric.It looks good overall. The sequins are not flashy, being clear and thin plastic. So, there's low reflectance. Its highlights are mainly at close distances. It is well made, having tight stitching and inserts at certain seams. The material is not flimsy and has interesting patterning. It does have more loose threads than I have seen before. You will need to trim those on your own, of course. The color is strange for me, a shade of brown that looks cheap and rather flat. The patterning is done with thread which is quite a bit lighter than the background material, which is not to my liking.The sleeves are snug at my biceps and forearms. Not to my liking, either. Narrower than my shirts in my closet. Not sure two more sizes up would be of much help, if it were to be available at Amazon. I measured the garment and found it to be wanting from half an inch to an inch after being pulled slightly. Took the hip dimension at the split in the sides and that was off-- short-- by five inches, though. I don't get it. Why the tendency toward being smaller, rather than fidelity with the specs?So, I have to look elsewhere for an answer to my need. For now, I will need to find someone to make a gift of this.If it were not for Amazon Vine being the source, I would be returning this for a refund. It doesn't fit, there is no larger size that is available that could fit, I don't like it and I don't like the idea of trying to find a recipient. Maybe I should just drop it off at Goodwill, then.Very disappointed.Would not recommend this company to any other American men, unless they have a slender build.Even then, they need to order much larger than expected.Be well.Be safe.

I am normally a US 42 and the XL fit well. The stitching design looks nice with the sequins. The amount of sequin is more toward the medium side than super heavy. The transparent sequins are similar color to the fabric. The fabric was not thin. There were some loose threads which need to but cut, but otherwise it is a nice product.

Lovely item. Very well made but unfortunately runs small. I wear US men's size L/XL so I figured if I order a 2X in this men's garment it would be perfect, but my hips don't fit well so the garment does not lay flat on me. However, I am a woman and this garment is made for men, so it is a risk I anticipated since it was not made for me. I guess I should have ordered a 3X. The garment is truly beautiful and well made

Got this for friends engagement where we had to wear traditional Indian attire. This was perfect for the occasion. The make is not too heavy or gaudy. So it’s perfect for non groom guests. Like the color and shine. For was good. The size chart helps you order the right fit. Only comes with the Kurta. I usually wear it over jeans but if you want complete traditional attire you will need to buy the pants separately. I would definitely recommend this brand for your traditional attire needs.

I love kurtas! I'm not Asian, but I really admire the culture—and this kurta is absolutely beautiful. I chose the “brown” one, which is actually a light brown color, and I love it.
