Bright enough to fuel my generator when power out. Remote switch makes it convenient to turn on and off. Wish the cord to solar panel was a bit longer. Limits how far in you can put the light. Will get another for kid’s playhouse

Didn't even charge but an hour on first night and lit up my grill like a champ! This thing is super bright and love that it has the different settings and very long cord to the solar panel. I wish the solar panel connect point was more adjustable on its axis, but it works fine the way it is too!

This Involux solar powered outdoor light is excellent and quickly became one of my favorite light fixtures around the house. I was looking for a solar powered light to install at my outdoor screened in gazebo, and I am happy to report that it worked very well for that purpose. There are a lot of positive points to be discussed about this solar light and a few negatives to be mentioned as well, but before that a few quick words about the packing and presentation. The solar light comes in a simple yet very protective packing, almost industrial looking, with a few graphics on the outside and some of the technical data about the product. Inside the package you have the remote control, the solar panel, the light fixture with the led light bulb already installed and a metal chain on top of it, also pre-installed, and last but not least a small user manual.Positives:- Great solar light, especially for anything outdoors that is away from the grid and remote locations too - I was very surprised how well this light is performing, it was very easy to install and the provided cable to connect between the solar panel and the light is long enough to route to a place that receives plenty of sunlight during the day. The promised 300LM of light is plenty, in fact I am using the 50% capacity at night as it is way too bright.- Excellent remote control with large buttons - The light has one of the most simple yet functional remote controls, large buttons and covering all the main features, no need to point it directly to the light and the operating distance is plenty. In addition, you have a direct option to keep the light on for 2h, 4h and 6h with that the light will turn off after time is up, plus adjustment with the 50% and 100%.- The solar panel is very compact and easy to place pretty much everywhere - The panel is equipped with a sensor that can trigger the light automatically when it gets dark or can be switched on the manual to operate with the remote, even turn it off completely.- Three CCT options available - You are getting 3000K, 4000K and 6500K.- Built-in 4000mAh battery that provides plenty of power for overnight performance.- Waterproof and good for pretty much everywhere outside - The lampshade and chain are powder coated and the wire is wrapped in a thick and fairly solid rubber, hopefully it will last for a while.- Competitively priced - At $30 that solar light is well priced and within the price range of similar products.Negatives:- Not much to be mentioned here, the only thing for me is longevity concerns, it has been over 4 months now and the light is working with no issues and has been used daily, but is it going to last another year, we are yet to find out.- Not really a negative but it is worth mentioning that the remote control actually controls some other similar lights, I have another one that is from a completely different company and is affecting it as well.Overall, a great outdoors solar powered light, I love it.

I am honored to be the first to review this beautiful solar light. I had ordered another one from Amazon and it was really nice, however, my youngest daughter (like me) said she light the warm color light better. So I waited and then found this light.I was a little concerned before I ordered it because in the first paragraph under "About this item" it noted that this light is recommended for indoor use. I wanted to put it under a gazebo on my pool deck and if it had that limitation, I was not going to order it. The second paragraph calmed any fears I had. It said, "This light is ideal for outdoor use." So then I was comfortable about ordering it. I think the company should change the wording or add the two sentences together as someone might skip over a great little light.The light is small and it measures about 8 inches across like the ad says. It came well packaged but without any instructions. You really don't need any instructions if you look at the ad. It says the main switch was on the back of the solar panel. Bingo. I could not for the life of me turn the light on with the included remote. I checked the two AAA batteries and their polarity was correct so I could not understand why was it not working. I decided to look at the ad again as I had my phone with me; and there was the answer. "The main switch "Auto-Off-Manual" is located at the back of the solar panel." I pushed on the switch and wala, it turned right on. I was unsure how to change the color as it came on as white white and I wanted warm light. Again, I went back to the ad and saw where the "CCT" button changed the color temperature. I pushed it and got the warm white color. My daughter loved it and even my wife commented on how nice and classy it was. She was not real fond of the many white LEDs of the other light. We all liked the bulb-like LED and the fact that we could change temperatures. I don't believe it is really a bulb but a cover smartly formed in the shape of a bulb as I could not twist it to tighten it or remove it.Overall, very pleased with the beauty and control of this solar light. I am not sure it will give up as much light as the other one as the ad says only 300 Lumens but we don’t need a very bright light but instead one to enhance the gazebo at night. I have not had it on at night yet because I had not hooked up the solar panel yet and wanted to hurry and be the first one to review this beautiful light. I will update my review if there are any changes.

I hung this in my gazebo, it’s nice it has a long cord from the solar to the light. It puts off a nice light to see not real bright but I like it. Works great.
