This thing works awesome. I didn’t even have to charge it when I got it. I just installed it right into my truck. The battery is great and the solar panel on it is more than enough for charging it when I go out to my truck when it’s It’s still going the day before and like I said you don’t even need to USB charge it but the fact that it’s an option for in the winter or during the rainy season is just a huge bonus. I would definitely recommend.

Worked for a few days then just dies despite me trying to cram photons into it. Good idea, I have been looking for something like this for a long time but it was made in someone's garage and does not work.

Saw some bad reviews for this product before I bought, though for the price I thought I'd give it a shot. When the product came, I clicked the "on switch" and was delighted to see that this product was exactly what I wanted! However, I wasn't home at the time so turned it back off and put it away for the night. The next day I installed the product in my car and turned it back on and guess what... it never worked again! I tried the on/off switch in both positions multiple times and took the thing out of my car and tested in light and dark environments with no avail. This thing literally lasted 5 minutes before breaking. Maybe It'd still be working if I never shut if off again in the first place, but bottom line is this thing is junk. Don't waste your time or money. I recommend pursuing another product.

Good for the cost. Not the best quality though. The top cover of mine broke away from the base after 2 months. It was curved to begin with and did not really fit on the base. The blue light works as expected. Do not keep it somewhere that people can see the unit directly. Hide it behind the gear lever or something so that they only see the light and not the broken lid or the exposed circuit board.

It was a pretty neat little gizmo - and it certainly gave my vehicle the added "look" of being protected at night. That lasted less than a month, and then it stopped working altogether. I made sure that I didn't accidentally leave it turned off or anything like that; it just quit working. Nice concept, poor execution.

I have mounted this little gadget on my dashboard and it flashes as promised. I never notice it when driving at night. When parked in my driveway, I see the blue light flashing when I get up early AM. We have a creeper in the neighborhood who ransacks peoples cars. Hopefully this flasher will dissuade him from messing with my car.
