I got this to use a backup to a fuel transfer pump. The hose is sized just right to make it easy to get going and the weight on the end makes it settle to bottom of the fuel container( a good thing). The only problem I had is that I had the end fall off one of the hoses 1 time. I was able to easily fish it out, and when I tried to fix the problem by adding a hose clamp, I quickly found out why they didn't use one(it doesn't fit the opening of the gas can, but I wish I didn't have to worry about that in the future.

I was skeptical at first about this shaker siphon hose, but it works really well! I have a siphon handheld hose and pump, which is easy to use but always left a pool of liquid for me to clean up at the end. This siphon hose, however, leaves little to no mess if you pay a bit of attention.For a 2-pack, the price is great. You can even separate one for different liquids to prevent cross-contamination. It’s perfect for transferring gasoline, diesel, and water. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a reliable siphon hose.

These siphon hoses work really well.They have a ball valve on the upward end that prevents backflow from breaking the siphon and the bell is copper which may reduce the possibility of sparks.The hose is large bore, so it allows a high flow rate and the walls are clear so you can see what is going on.The shake-to-start method takes a bit of fiddling around until you get the hang of it, but the suction method works very reliably for non-volatile liquids.

These hoses are a nice length at 10ft and the copper nozzle on the end has something like a marble in the nozzle that helps to fill the hose with the liquid and self prime itself so you no longer need to suck on the end of the hose to get it started. We are pleased with these hoses and they are super easy to use and no longer need to worry about sucking up the liquid in your mouth to get it going.

These siphons make emptying out my mower's gas tank quick and easy. The one way mechanism seem to hold liquid with no issues allowing the fuel to be pumped and flowing within a few shakes. The tube appears to be gas safe and so far I don't notice any deterioration of the tube.

These siphons are simple and work great! I’m using them for gasoline and diesel fuel transfers, just drop the rattle end into the container and shake it a few times to get the flow moving. Since it is a siphon the source container must be at a higher level than what you are putting the liquid in to. I got the 10 foot versions, you can easily cut the hose length shorter if needed.

I have used one of these and they work pretty much as expected. My only issue with them so far is that the hose is rather thin and easy to kink. Others I have have thicker walled tubing that is kink resistant. If you kink the hose the flow will be reduced or stopped.
