Malathion has been cited as a safer insecticide compared to some others. The only drawback is it stinks to high heaven. Not a wonderful odor to behold. That odor will last a couple of days in the area you sprayed. I didn't down rate to four stars due to that, because in all other respects it does what it claims to do. It also doesn't separate or go bad if partially used and then stored for over a year. So close your nearby windows before using, and enjoy.

I bought this to kill ants under my back deck and side of the house. I mixed as recommended, even though I thought it was too dilute to work. 1tbs per gallon seems darn dilute! This stuff worked amazingly. I have not seen an ant in a week since I spread out 2 gallons (that's only 2 tbs of produce) on a 300 square foot deck (drips under deck to ground where ants live). I have tried many other bug killers; this is the only thing that has worked. Definitely NOT for indoor use!

California has legalized recreational use of our favorite plant. I grow a few bushes every year outside. We have the most perfect climate for growing cannabis, the San Joaquin valley, so hot and dry. But also unfortunately its the perfect breeding grounds for hoards of insects, specifically the spider mite. These tiny spiders are so small you need magnification to observe them. They luv cannabis and in a matter of weeks can over run your garden with biblical hoards living and breeding on the undersides of the leaves. But these spiders dont eat meat like most arachnoids. They suck the life out of the leaves seriously impacting the health of the plants .My garden now is a bit larger than I usually grow and I somehow neglected to see these horrific microscopic creatures attacking my plants till they were infested like nobodies business.I had noticed the plants seem to have stopped growing and wer turning a lighter shade of green and almost whiteish. I was stupefied to see a major cataclysmic even happening on my plantsI grabbed the neem oil and it just made them mad. I used vegetable oil and dish soap and slowed them down a bit but also damaged the plants. Finally in desperation I grabbed the Malathion. I've since sprayed twice and in less than 2 weeks the plants are getting greener and growing fast again. It works.I have a $12 microscope I use to view these creatures and they are hideous. The plan is to spray weekly till they begin to flower and then no sprays and hope these horrific creatures dont have time to re-infest. Let's Grow, Rando
