LATNEX Waterproof Digital GPS Speedometer Backlight for ATV UTV-MARINE-Boats-Motorcycle- Automobile Motor Vehicle Bikes can be used to test the driving speed (accuracy is 1km/h) and driven distance of your vehicle accurately.

This unit has a GPS speedometer function, Clock function, Voltage indicator function and some other features.

GPS Speedometer Feature:

  • GPS satellite Positioning to measure and display current speed.
  • Max speed viewed.
  • Settable High-speed/low-speed alarms. when speed exceeds the set value(default is 100KM/H,60MI/H,50NMI/H), Red LED flashes to alarm.

Had to do a little customizing to get it to fit but works great, got wet still works picks up signal fast and keeps it accurate speed… have not messed with clock

It worked fine in the first season I had it in my boat. It would take a couple minutes to get a location and then give me a speed reading. In the second season it started to take longer and longer before getting a position. And now in the 3rd season it doesn't acquire a location at all. All it displays now is POS. I think if it would have an external antenna it would be a better product.

I bought this one because it shows the time. However, the GPS time isn't accurate. I've manually set the time many times, but it keep showing up many hours off!ALSO, it won't remember that I want the time displayed. So, I have to keep cycling back to that display mode.ALSO, The backlight color isn't remembered either.So, close, but so far away from being what I wanted.

I couldn't source a wheel speed sensor for my 1980 Kawaski KZ1000 that I just acquired. So, I ordered this little GPS unit and it works perfectly. Easy to wire, and mount (I'm making a 2 gauge pod for it, so current setup is temp). Make sure you are clear of buildings and such when you first aquire the satellites. I cycled thru the menu settings to get to the Satellite status and it seems to acquire them quicker at this screen setting. Also has an odometer, which is very helpful because I have no fuel gauge. 2 weeks and almost 200kms on it and all good. I'll provide a long term update accordingly.

I installed this n the dash area of my Rufle Superbike fairing on my motorcycle. Pretty easy install and I wired it in my ignition circuit. The dash is located under a smoke colored windshield and angles up slightly. First time I turned it on it took a little less than a minute to find GPS satellites. Programming is simple enough. Just follow the directions.During the test drive I compared it to the GPS on my phone and it match perfectly.The only problem is the LCD display isn’t contrasting enough to see at a glance in bright sunlight…even when I went through shady areas.Tried different display colors (choice of three) with same results. Probably works better at night but I didn’t test that because I rarely ride my motorcycle at night.I’ll keep it but having to take my eyes off the road for more than 2 seconds to see how fast I’m goingIsn’t the hot set up…or safe.

Fitted to my imported Land Rover as the speedo was in MPH and I needed a clear indication of speed in Kmh. It picks up the satellite signal pretty quickly on most occasions. Ran it through a couple of speed traps and the indicated speed was exactly what the speed trap display was showing. Overall, so far, very pleased.

Easy install...just needs power.Takes a bit to see the satellites and function but that's to be expected.It'd off a few mphs ....but again, its a cheap GPS speedometer.Easily viewable ....

Purchased and installed on a Tao Tao Powermax VIP. The Chinese speedometer was way off and needed a speedometer that would let me know if I was a rolling road block or not. It took just a few minutes to setup then off to ride. Works perfect.
