These work great and fit nicely on my 2009 Toyota Prius. I have used them to haul plywood, drywall, and I’m currently using them to hold (2) 100 watt solar panels. These racks are very strong and secure. I like that you can lock them with a key as well. Great racks over all and I’m very happy with them. I highly recommend them if you need racks for your car.

I did return these only as the fittment wasn't exact for my vehicle but sportrack is my go-2 for all things roof rack if they make them.I've used SR for a long time on most of my vehicles as they make some of the best racks for a price that is hard to argue with.Being in Canada we pay a 30% premium on most if not all things so finding bargains is a good thing and SR is that bargain.Easy to adjust, all bolts are really good quality and not the cheap stuff.Instructions are super easy and TONS of online videos, I've personally never had an issue.

I have a Honda Accord, and although I had to bend a steeper angle into the door jam hook, I was able to get it to stop popping off. For people without the proper tools, they may be disappointed.Other than that, I had it on all summer, and it never moved.

This is a review of the SR1010 model.Bought this rack presumably as a new, repackaged item for a bargain $73 and some change. It sat in the garage unopened for a year.Well, just opened the box today - no instructions, no packaging, pre-assembled, showing light indentations on the crossbars indicative of someone’s previous failed attempt at installation and subsequent product return.Whatever, what’s a few scuffs between us girls, right?Well... fast forward two frustrating, futile hours with my spouse trying to install this stupid thing onto my 2013 Ford Focus hatchback with a bare roof. Tried spacing the feet at 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 tick marks on the cross bars to no avail. The crossbars dented every time we tightened the crossbar adjustment screw at each tick mark. All the hardware and brackets seem to be made from steel, though there is absolutely no way on Earth that’s the case for the crossbars - they’re most likely aluminum or some other soft metal or alloy.Tightened the foot screws nearly to the point of denting the roof at each tick mark.Invariably, with a firm jerk in just the right way, the darn rack would just pop right off the roof.It says the weight capacity of this rack is 130 lbs. I can just picture my two 65lb kayaks, still attached to this rack, flying off on the freeway at 70mph towards some hapless car behind me...At some point in our installation attempt, out of sheer desperation, we went to the manufacturer’s website hoping for some sort of installation video or instructions. Verified through their vehicle compatibility filter that this rack does fit my car (I remember checking this when I bought it in the first place, but doesn’t hurt to double-check one’s sanity from time to time). Downloaded their installation manual... Guess which car is NOT listed as compatible in the installation manual for this model? MINE!!! Crossbar spacing and positioning is provided for Fiesta, Edge, Fusion, and Taurus, but NOT the f’ing Focus! What in the actual hell kind of bait and switch is this?!So, no rooftop cargo for us on the upcoming trip this weekend. There goes that. And, of course, after a year, it’s now far too late to return this darn thing to Amazon or otherwise. I guess we’ll have to think of some alternative use for this POS somewhere down the road. Also, like others have mentioned - security is nonexistent. There are two sets of adjustment screws in place for each crossbar assembly: one at the crossbar itself, and one at the base of the foot clamp. The locks go over the screws at the base of the foot only. However, as we observed over and over tonight, if just ONE of the crossbar screws is loosened a little bit to allow for movement, the ENTIRE crossbar assembly, with the locked feet, comes right off the roof.

Works well on my 2013 Toyota Prius C and is fairly cheap to purchase. However, neither measurements in the manual for the regular Prius nor Yaris were any good. The Prius C seems to have the door frame area where you'd mount this at around a 60-70% angle so I had to make sure L shaped mounting pieces had the best grip possible. To do that, I had to take the front down to 3-4 on each side and 2-3 on the back so that the rack gripped the roof properly and securely. I mounted a roof cargo basket and have had no issues with about 50-60lbs on cargo basket in test drives I've done. Nothing moved whatsoever and I'm able to move the whole car when testing if the roof rack is secured. Unfortunately, have not taken a ride longer than 20 miles with it so far though (bought it for a summer roadtrip).Points to mention:1. Came a bit banged up from shipping. Nothing too bad but plastic on bars is chipped in spots.2. Instructions are garbage3. The mounting pieces come with thick plastic around metal to protect car.The thick plastic is great to keep your car from scratching . However, the doors will be harder to close because of it and you'll hear a pop anytime you open the doors or at least that was the case for my car. Recommend scrapping off at least some of the plastic off so parts sit more flush with doors and avoid popping noises. You might scratch the paint inside the door area a bit if you do it though. It's not visible with the doors closed and worth it to me but maybe not for everyone. Will update review with images of it on car around July (2019) and any more information I might have after proper usage.

Simple to set up and install. Good price. 3000 mile first test trip went very well.

Its a bit of an incomplete product. Definitely needs some sort of modification or it very well could easily scratch your paint bigtime. Perhaps plasticoat or something similar. The locking mechanism is a joke. Dont even need the key. But other than those issues its a good rack
