This is the cheapest piece of crap I’ve ever seen the edges are so sharp I can barely pick it up, the chrome is flaking off it’s a total rip off. I ordered a nine speed they sent me a seven speed with two loose rings that don’t engage anything they just float it will never work

For racing no deal but casual riding just fine. I can't use it for my purpose but I fix all my family's bikes, it's inexpensive enoughf to have as a spare for other bikes

This is a 9 speed cassette which I used to replace OEM part on my old Cannondale bike. It fits like a glove and gears switch much better now. The original one lasted for many years, this one is the same brand and model, hopefully it will last very long time as well. It is easy to replace, but the process requires a couple of specialized tools. I found that ParkTool has a very useful tutorial on how to do it on Youtube. The indication that the time has come to replace the cassette is when chain starts jumping from cog to cog under load (e.g., between several smaller cogs) and adjustments of rear derailleur cannot fix this problem.

Went back to a PG-950 after using the PG-970. Heavier construction translates to the cassette lasting roughly 50% longer. Quite happy with the lifetime of PG-971 chains also. Neither have never worn out inside the same year I changed one.
