The dado plate fits perfectly and comes with adjustable screws to get it flush. The dado bolt is also included for use with dado blades. The bolt is slimmer than the standard bolt allowing more thread bites.

The plate fits well, but has a little flex if you push down hard. It allows the full range of movement for the blade height. It works very well with a sled.

The dado insert fits perfectly with the Skil table saw 6307 model and has the four leveling screws to adjust properly. Unfortunately, the plastic insert is a bit weak in the middle and has the tendency to sag when pressure is applied. If your work piece is directly over the dado blade and not completely supported by the tabletop, there will be a slight discrepancy of depth at the beginning and end of the cut. If a 16th of an inch isn’t an issue than this is a good product. I will purchase the Skil dado insert to compare the two for strength.

Knowing I would buy a dado stack for my Skil table saw, I bought this plate thinking I would have to use it whenever I used the dado blade. However, it is really only necessary when cutting a wide dado; otherwise, the plate that comes with the saw is fine for most narrow cuts. This plate will accommodate dados up to 5/8"; if you need one that will permit wider cuts, you'll have to make your own, a popular mod among table saw owners. It's plastic and has set screws to adjust its height on the saw; treat it well and it should work just fine.

This is a flexible plastic. This means that if you try to hold a workpiece against the table as it meets the saw, it will deflect the plastic and cause the cut to skew.
