Needed a cross-cut sled but wanted more options than a basic DIY sled. Found this kit for a multi-function sled. Has all that is needed for a nice sled except for the instructions, wood stock and other items that may be needed.Instructions can be found online for similar kits that can be used for this kit. Some adjustments may have to be made but should be an easy build. The miter bars fit as they should in the slots in my table. The completed sled should work fine after the build and table surface refinish / wax. Just have to build it. I see no reason why this would cause any issues other than poor construction. 4 stars for lack of instructions.

This kit would get much higher marks if it included some instructions. Although building a crosscut sled for your table saw has been covered a lot in various books and magazines, if you're not familiar with it just getting a couple of parts with no direction will make it impossible to figure it out. If that describes you, go online to search for "DIY cross-cut sled" for various articles and even video clips to help out. That's basically what I did to put these parts to good use. I bought a 1/2 birch plywood with a good cosmetic look to use as the base for the kit. I'm still figuring out a few details of the final design, but so far things are looking good. Good luck with your own table saw sled build...

I have to admit I am not happy that I was misled by the pictures and ad for this product. I thought it came with the pictured wooden sled. That aside this was completely void of any instructions on how to complete it, without screws or much for the cost.
