easy to put on with oversized tabs and simple design. even tho only on the heel, it provides super solid footing. i've bought three pairs over the years. i buy them because they are simple and small, don't tangle up, and can be put on easily.

These were too large for my feet and I wear a size 10 women’s.

These are great, can be worn driving or climbing ladders as n are easy to swing back up off the heel when going inside without needing to take them completely off

The first time I wore the ice grips I lost a pin. So not very happy about that and had to order new pins. The pins need to be checked as they do not come tight. They work very well though in icy conditions. Easy to put on boots.

Works fairly well. Stays on. Helps when your world turns into ice. Good investment as the environment turns into garbage.

they aren't as good as a full boot set but these are really good, allowing you safe travels and yet also allowing you to enter buildings with no problem. I live in a village where the streets are icy for much of the long winter and these make me feel safe in my walks with the dogs and other errands

Update: I have used these for four winters and they still work great. They are lightweight and easy to put on (and take off). If I think I will hit any icy patches on my walks I always wear these. Upgraded from 3 to 5 stars for durability and ease of use.I have used these for two seasons and they have held up well. The biggest limitation these have is that they are held on by a stretchy rubber strap. If these cleats grab the ice or snow they can slip off of the bottom of your heel and end up on the back of it. I have only had this happen when working in snow on uneven ground. I have not had any problems walking on packed snow or ice, and that is what I use these for (it is still worrisome when walking downhill, although they have not slipped off yet). I use the Stabilicer Hiker when I want traction in all conditions. You will want to order the replacement "spikes" as these will wear down, especially if you end up walking on bare roads where the ice has melted.

I tried these out the first day received and they worked great on ice. The second day I stepped out into the snow andfell flat on my back. My point being how I was walking in the snow (forgot about ice underneath) was more pronounced and the cleats caught the ice but my boot kept going forward slipping it off the heel. I put back on and tightened the straps thinking they were too loose but knocked both off later. I believe these are great and so is the company and I intend on using again on ice only as I was looking for a heel only cleat. I ordered the Maxx for my wife and she loves them as they are full shoe and won't come off. I also ordered the STABILicer Maxx but have not receivedyet but am certain they will work perfectly and will use both but not the Heel in snow. This is just my experience asto what you can expect. FYI, to make more sense of this review, the Heel has a stretchable strap where as the Maxxhas a non-stretchable velcro strap.

Bought them to provide traction for snow-blowing driveway, but when I pull it backwards they come off. Not useful.

I can not tell you how much I love these stabilizers! They have been a life saver for me. We have had record snow fall here in Idaho this year and the ice has been treacherous. These STABLILICERS are so great because they are easy to put on and take off, not to mention the peace of mind they give you when you have them on. I ordered an extra pack of parts for them, but I haven't even had an opportunity to use them yet, this product is so well made.. I have used them everyday for a couple of months now, if you like sturdy footing on ice and snow, this is your product. :)

First snow storm of the season and then freezing temps makes for a long winter of icy parking lots. They are Compact and Easy to put on making them more likely to use! They have been comfortable to walk in. Much more secure in my steps. Very happy to have found these.
