So it works as far as it does swivel all around as you turn it. It is very strong & sturdy and make sure you install it securely to hold whatever it is youre using it for. I got this for my bungee fitness fad . It holds me as i hang and jump & bounce with it from my harness. Used extra 2x4 to make sure its secure from ceiling. Highly recommend .

Used it to hang a hammock chair for my kids. Gets a fair amount of swinging/twisting from a 50-60lbs humans (plus the occasional 160lbs human) and has lasted for a couple of years so far, so it's at least that durable.

Higher quality than I expected and very satisfied with the product. I needed a pair of them and when I ordered I thought they came in a pair so when I received it and there was only one I had to order another one. This was my mistake and not in any way the sellers fault but just be aware that the they are sold in single units. You usually need a pair of them so they are pricey but they are heavy duty and the quality is excellent which is important for a swing installation.

Installed this in my daughters room, within 30 minutes her chair fell to the floor with her in it. The lower ring is easily unthreaded if the swing is spun in a circle. An easy fix is to apply thread locking compound to this piece. Ironically the manufacturer used thread locker to the bolt on the main pin, but not on the lower assembly.

These swing brackets are definitely strong, but I don't know as I would purchase them again.Installation was TOUGH. (Inaide, into floor joists through drywall) The drill bit supplied looked too small for the corresponding bolts, and it was. It was not long enough to predrill holes for the whole bolt, and I had to WORK to get the screws in. I first used a drill with a socket bit, then when that couldn't generate enough torque, switched to the impact driver, but it was barely moving it a quarter turn per go because of how much resistance there was (again because the pre-drilled holes were too small). Then I switched to a ratcheting wrench because it was much faster and not deafeningly loud like the impact driver. At the very end of each bolt I had to switch to a crescent wrench because the socket on the ratcheting wrench could not clear the horizontal axle's nut. (The nut stuck out over the hole of the bolt I was putting in)Once finally installed, they worked fabulously for about a week, but then the plastic washers that are meant to keep the swivel eye centered wore through and now they are very very loud. my kids swing daily and the creaking and clanking is so bad I'm considering taking them down to return them and replace with another brand.I would have loved more detailed information about installation, like a picture of which screws are for wood and which are for concrete. And perhaps which size the bolts are so I didn't have to try on multiple size sockets to find the right one.Overall I would not recommend this if you have another option. There seems to be friction between many of the components, and I'm concerned this will cause wear to the carabineers and swing chain which should be eliminated by the rotating components of the hook.
