This cake pan is a pain to use. You've got to have a cookie sheet big enough to accommodate the "tails" if you want to make small heart, and the batter leaks out under the edges. I tried lining it with parchment paper, but it just looked like a heart shaped blob because of the shape. I tried using it for cake and pancakes and both times the batter leaked out underneath. The frame is very lightweight, it's not heavy enough to leakage underneath. Honestly, more of a hassle than it's worth, made a mess on the cookie sheet and skillet, which ended up wasting a lot of batter. It's probably going to Goodwill, pretty disappointed...

This is perfect for Valentine's day! I also have used it to shape a loaf of bread, and it worked pretty well!
