This is a really fun looking pizza oven and we have received multiple positive comments on it, with friends asking where they can get one. The first time we used this pizza oven the weather was cold and damp. That impacted the heat level in the oven and we did not have the level of success with our pizzas that we wanted. So I waited for the weather to warm up in order to give this a fair review. The weather is now warmer and drier and we have since used this oven multiple times with great success. The weather also impacts cooking in our regular gas grill, requiring higher temps, so I am not going to take off any stars for that happening with this pizza oven. My kids have been inspired to create all sorts of pizza recipes. I think this would make a great, unique, wedding or house warming gift.

Received first unit, broken welds, sent back and got a replacement.Unit did not perform at all, only low temperature, sent it back as well.

This pizza oven is designed to look like a cat. There is a cat face on the front, the "stands" are the legs, and the exhaust tube at the back is the tail.Novelty aside, I had a lot of issues with this oven. Assembly was fine, but using it was a challenge. At first, I tried wood chips that were too large and that seems to have caused an issue with the oven getting hot enough. After getting the recommended wood pellets, the oven got hotter; however, the external thermometer then broke, which I only discovered after using an oven thermometer I had in the house. The body of the pizza oven remained filled with smoke, without much escaping through the exhaust tube. I don't want smoked pizza.Using the provided cast iron pan, the pizza came out with a nice crust, but the pizza stone created very doughy crust (maybe that's a user error?).The product is currently listed at $340, but was $80 more expensive when I got it. For a product at that price, I feel there should be better results. There are plenty of other pizza ovens out there which you can get for considerably less money.

Offered by the SKYCORPS Store:- Other than question of whether it's supposed to like a cat or a dog robot, this oven delivers.- It's easy to set up, and it is quite heavy... So I think it will be lasting for quite some time.- Just add some pellets, and you're up and running in a short time.- Pizza's turned out great, having a rotating cooking platform makes for even cooking. That's what makes this one stand out.- The real key is to find a simple / tasty crust recipe.- This is a great pizza oven for someone who is new to this kind of cooking,- Priced as expected for what it has to offer.- I do recommend this one, especially if you like the robot look.

My first impression is that this is a quality oven. The material is heavy duty and it is well built--it is heavy. I like that it comes with an easily removable chimney for storage under a cover and several good quality accessories: a cast iron pan, pizza stone, silicone rolling sheet, and a more than decent mitt. The rotating stone is a very nice feature as the heat source is from one end of the oven.I've only used it once and I have mixed results. I don't believe I gave it a fair try though, and I believe it can do better than it did. I bought inexpensive pellets and they burned down too quickly. The pellet basket is not very large either and that didn't help. The oven got up to 400 degrees within 20 minutes but the pellets burned down and the temperature began to drop. That was awkward. The second load got the oven back up to 400 and I put the pizza in. By the time the pizza had been in the oven for 10 minutes, the pellets were burned down again. The pie did not get done and I surrendered.The first problem was that it was a 50 degree evening and not ideal outdoor cooking temps. In warmer weather, the oven would perform better. I believe the pellets were not dense enough. And I suspect that I'll have to go through two or three loads of pellets per session to get the oven plenty preheated. I seriously doubt this oven can reach or sustain 550 degrees much less the 700 it is advertised to reach. But in a small oven, 500-550 is enough to get a well crisped pizza in ten minutes. I believe this oven can do that and I'll wait till spring to try again.Small criticism: the mechanical, manual dial timer is a joke. It is magnetic and can be pulled off and tossed. With all the electronic timers all over the house, this seems a bit gimmicky and unnecessary.
