I wasn't sure till they arrived, but they are identical to the QD connectors that I have been using in my home brewing for years now. I thought at the price they might be seconds with sketchy tolerances, but I checked them against my older fittings with a digital caliper and they're all in spec and function fine with the older connectors. They provide good seal even with boiling fluids, but with only a 3 ball lock, I would not use in high pressure applications. This is the perfect set you need to plumb a sterile fluid pump....or you could buy them individually from a national brewing distributor at more than twice the price and not get the spare O-Rings
