I use this to break up ice. The head sheds a little, so I have to use it on the plastic bag. Does a pretty good job of breaking up large chunks.

For anyone who loves camping this is a great and necessary product. A metal hammer has a tendency to bend tent stakes, but put a rubber mallet head on them and they sink fast and straight. It works for everything from large tent stakes to small and thin outside mat stakes. Great product!

This product is exactly what you think it to be - a rubber tent mallet! I needed one to use for a mildly large landscaping job I had undertaken, and this was among the first few that showed up on my Amazon search. It was affordable, came quickly, and I've had no issues! I used it to hammer down some Terrace Board/Edging to separate rocks, although it seems to be as sturdy as a hammer. You could probably use it in place of one if you needed to put nails in place, but I would imagine this is less precise.Great value for the price!

Item performs as expected and does what it is supposed to do. Price is comparable with simple mallets at big box store. Was convenient to be able to purchase this as add on item without additional shipping cost for a toy I ordered on Amazon that required this tool for assembly.
