This case works quite well for general care, transport, and protection of your valuable items, but for the quality of the plastic I wouldn't subject it to any major impacts or stress. For carrying about, tossing in a car, or stacking in a box with other items, however, this case should do fine. Included molded elements all fit nicely and are precision-made and assembled.

There are many Starlink cases available on Amazon at a wide range of prices. This particular case is widely available from many different Amazon Sellers at wildly varying prices, . This is technically a "hard-shell" case, but it is a lighter-duty type case, and there are much more robust cases at this price point. This is certainly not a "Pelican-level"-type product, but it probably sufficient for use where the case would not be subjected to a lot of impacts or stress. Everything fits perfectly into the provided interior insert (easily removed), but it is a rigid molded piece, not foam, which is more protective in negating transmission of external impacts to the internal components. So just realize what you're buying, and in the long run, exercise a little more caution in use. Otherwise, it works fine.

Full disclosure - I do not own a Starlink Mini - I got this case for general use as it is a size that is of use for me. My thought was to remove the precut insert and put my own foam in it.Overall it's a good case. There are some shortcomings that would keep me from trusting it with anything of value (a Starlink included...if I had one).Build quality is average. The plastic is thin and wouldn't hold up well to a sharp impact. For general protection from bumps and jarring, it'll work fine though. The lid fits well and there is a raised lip on the lower rim that fits into a groove on the upper lid. It's a seal of sorts, although not a pressure seal....mostly to ensure the lid lines up and seats properly.I wouldn't stack much weight on this. I have closed it and stood on top of it (180lb) and it felt soft. It holds, but it wasn't that solid. It has holes through the top/bottom lid that can be used with ties or locks, but there is no metal around them, so it's really just to discourage casual snooping, not keep anyone out.As for general use - the precut insert comes out fairly easliy. There are several spots of glue on the back that hold it in, but it pops out without much effort. The glue stays on the insert, not on the plastic, which is great. There is a plain piece of eggcrate foam in the lid that is good for general use. I cut a thicker piece of eggcrate for the bottom and have a decent general use case. The back of the case (opposite the latches) is flat so the case will stand upright solidly. The latches close securly and hold the lid down tight. The handle is on a simple hinge so it does not lock in the 'down' position. The size would allow for a good bit of small items, or if you are into shooting, you could probably fit 4 pistols in it if you turn them correctly.

This is an excellent case to protect fragile electronics and parts. It does a good job with the starlink but the insert also slides right out if you want to carry something else in there (camera, radios, etc.) You'll need to provide your own insert for anything else but foam inserts are crazy simple to get so that shouldn't really be a problem.

We use our starlink to travel to a relative’s home off the beaten path with no internet. We used to just carry the box but this seemed like a better long term solution. It is except that there’s not quite enough room inside for the protector we use on it. If only they gave it a little extra wiggle room. The fit is super tight. Which is great that the starlink is so secure but it doesn’t help much to have to just carry the protector separately. If you use your starlink without a case or protector though then it’s a great buy. It’s light but seems fairly durable.

This Starlink Mini Case, Waterproof Hard Case looks to be made pretty well. It is of fairly lightweight plastic, so I would not toss it around, but it will keep things dry and in one place. There is room for wiring and accessories below, a plastic divider, and room for the Mini above. There is room for more accessories next to the Mini. The top had a foam insert, and the bottom has a molded insert. I was able to put the Mini, the original power cable, a POE injector, the plug in power supply and a 48V converter in the accessory locations. A POE cable will probably not fit unless you don't pack the original round power cable.

I got this for a tablet and accessories I needed to keep safe. It is almost exactly the same dimensions as the starlink mini. For the price you could probably get a more durable case, but it is hard plastic and has a form-fitted internal divider specifically for the starlink mini antenna.

Overall Thoughts…Nice case, but a little thin for the price, not effectively waterproofed.4 Stars.SOME DETAILS ON MY ORDER ARRIVAL- My Mini Case came on time and well packaged. There was no visible damage to the package or the product. Within the package were the following contents: One case, black (17.48 x 12.4 x 5.63 inches per manufacturer) with foam padding on the inside top of the case and a molded form on the bottom of the case.UPON CLOSER INSPECTION: It has a rugged design to protect its contents though the thickness of the case is less than a Pelican type case. The manufacturer boast it is dust free and waterproof, but the case does not have rubber grommets or seals in its sealing channels. It will keep a large portion of water out but not all if submerged. The foam padding on the top lid is standard soft padding. The form fitting Starlink–type molding on the bottom lip can be easily removed if the molded version is not required and more space is needed. (See photos). It’s a nice case with decent fasteners and closure properties. I give it 4 stars.
