I got this dock for my Asus ROG Ally and I'm glad I did. This dock has all the features you need to turn your handheld PC into a solid desktop replacement for light tasks. There's ample USB connectivity (2 USB and 1 USB-C port (all USB 3.2 spec!)), a LAN port, PD @ 100 watts, and an HDMI 2.1 output.The build on this is all metal and feels quality. There are rubber bits where your handheld meets the dock (on the back and likely on the screen) to prevent it from getting scratched, as well as rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. The attached USB-C upstream cable is very stiff, but there's plenty of length to reach up to your devices USB-C port. Of note, this doesn't come with a separate charging cable, but I've been using the charging brick that came with the ROG ally and had no issues with power delivery, but if additional power is needed, it will support up to 100 watts in.I did have an issue with HDMI signal dropout on my first unit, but the customer support is quick to respond and replaced my unit and provided updated firmware to correct the issue. I'd absolutely recommend this dock to anyone looking for a dock for their handheld PC. I use this nearly every day and love the LAN port for lag free high-quality streaming from my gaming PC if I just want to game from my couch.

This dock is incredibly useful! I can play my Steam Deck on the TV in my living room, where it's more comfortable. It really feels like it transforms the Steam Deck into something similar to a Nintendo Switch. I also love the compact design. I use my existing Switch cables to keep things tidy, so when I’m not using the dock it’s easy to store away.The build quality feels solid, with nice rubber feet for grip and an anti-scratch pad where the Steam Deck sits. It connected flawlessly, like plug-and-play. All I had to do was switch to desktop mode on the Steam Deck, and everything worked perfectly. The image quality was great, and the audio came through without any issues.I also tested it with a mouse and keyboard, and they worked just fine. I haven’t tried a USB controller yet but I don’t expect any problems. Just a heads-up, the dock doesn’t come with any cables (no HDMI or charging cable), so you’ll need to have those on hand.Overall, a great little accessory that expands how you can use your Steam Deck. Highly recommended!

Nice design, plenty of ports, but the cable is a bit long and on my unit twisted to a point where it's bit awkward to maneuver it into place.

Devo dire che la WAVLINK ha superato le mie aspettative. La connettività è eccellente, con porte HDMI 2.1 4K a 144Hz, tre porte USB 3.2 10G e una porta Gigabit RJ45. Questo mi ha permesso di collegare il mio Steam Deck a un monitor esterno, tastiera, mouse, controller e internet via cavo senza problemi.La ricarica PD da 100W è un valore aggiunto importante. There's nothing this dock can't do. It's got plenty of connections (USB A and C), gigabit LAN, 100W PD connection for power and the all important HDMI 2.1 offering up to 4K at 144hz.It works with a number of handhelds - can definitely confirm it works well with the Asus Rog Ally. Makes for a very convenient way of docking your handheld either in front of a TV / monitor...and even for a portable set-up with a USB monitor.Works well and is nice and small enough to carry about. Decent performance - no complaints here.

El dock tiene muy buena calidad. La carcasa está completamente construida en aluminio con un acabado negro mate que, desde fuera, puede parecer plástico pero no es así. Incluso la zona en la que apoya la consola también es de aluminio. Se nota que está diseñada para este tipo de PCs consolizados ya que la ranura para colocar el dispositivo es lo suficientemente gruesa para albergarla de una manera estable sin que se balancee y además cuenta con unas secciones de goma para que la parte inferior y trasera de la consola no apoyen sobre el meta.Otro detalle que me ha gustado es que la consola queda ligeramente inclinada de modo que si, como en mi caso, eres del tipo de usuario que utiliza la consola conectada al TV el 90% del tiempo, agradecerás que de este modo se protejan las ranuras de salida de refrigeración de la ROG Ally del polvo.También me ha gustado mucho que la zona en la que apoya la consola tiene una lámina lo suficientemente pequeña para que toda la pantalla se pueda ver una vez colocada en el dock, sin que éste tape ninguna parte.Entrando en especificaciones, tengo varios docks de Wavlink que he usado con la ROG Ally, pero siempre han sido dock pensados para PC portátil o Macbook. El funcionamiento es similar pero las diferencias que he encontrado son principalmente tres:- La primera es, obviamente, la zona para colocar la consola que ya he comentado.- La segunda, es que este dock soporta hasta 4K@144Hz, pudiendo elegir 2K@165Hz, 1080p@240Hz u otros muchos modos que soporte el OS de la consola (en mi caso, Windows 11).- La tercera es que no tiene lector de tarjetas SD ni MicroSD, que es algo muy habitual en este tipo de docks pero que Wavlink no ha debido considerar necesario ponerlo en éste, algo comprensible sobre todo por el tamaño del dock y el espacio físico disponible para ponerlo (hay que recordar que la parte frontal no es útil porque es donde va colocada la consola.Algo que es personal pero que en mi caso supone una incomodidad es el hecho de que el conector de Ethernet esté en un lateral en lugar de en la parte trasera donde están los USBs y HDMI. Creo que el setup queda mucho mejor si todos los cables salen del dock en la misma dirección de modo que se pueden recoger en un mismo grupo de cables. Pero bueno, es un detalle menor pero aun así me gusta comentarlo.En resumen, el dock está muy muy bien por el precio que tiene (~50€ en el momento de pedirlo). Podría tener más funciones como ranura para poner un SSD M.2 NVMe y expandir la capacidad de la consola, disponer de USBs 3.2 Gen4x4 de hasta 20Gbps o USB 4 hasta 40Gbps, salida Displayport, Ethernet 2Gbps, etc... pero éstas son características que sólo he visto en docks que cuestan mínimo el doble que éste y, la verdad, muchas de ellas no creo que sean necesarias ya que estas máquinas no son tan potentes. Un HDMI, con una frecuencia de muestreo alta para juegos, tres USBs hasta 10Gbps, Ethernet 1Gbps y PD3.1 son características muy buenas. Sin duda, un gran producto.Como deseo, me hubiera gustado que estuviera disponible en blanco para que vaya más a juego con la ROG Ally. Quizás para un modelo futuro (o no, porque la ROG Ally X es negra).

This dock comes nicely packaged with an instruction manual. The manual is well written and has five different languages (en, de, fr, es and it). It shows you how to go into desktop mode and navigate the settings to change resolution and refresh rate with pictures for each step. There is no power supply included. I'm using the one that came with the Steam Deck.The dock's shell is metal and has a metallic black finish. It's size in on the smaller side but it's sturdy and holds the Deck in place well. The non slip pads on the bottom do a good job of keeping the dock in place. It does not move at all on my desk. There is Wavlink branding in white but it's on the top of the dock and not in front. This gives it a clean look when the deck is attached to it.What I really like about this dock is that it can fit the Steam Deck with my Satisfye StylthGrip case I have. The dock I was currently using before this one could not. Another huge thing this dock can do is output 144hz at 4K. I haven't tried it with my 4K TV because it doesn't have a high refresh rate but it works with the 1440p monitor I have at 144Hz. Picture and sound is clear. Along with the usb-c PD port used to power the dock, there's an addition usb-c data port. I have an external ssd plugged into it and I have no issue running games off of it. I normally use Bluetooth to connect my keyboard and mouse and Wi-Fi for connectivity but I attached a m&kb to the usb-a ports and plugged in Ethernet to the jack on the dock, they all work as they should.The only thing I don't really like is the cable. It looks nice with it's red and black braiding but it's very stiff. Another thing is it's long (about 10 inches). I guess this could be beneficial for larger devices like the Legion GO but with the SteamDeck you get this large stiff loop of cable sticking out the back. I usually have my (old) dock right up against the base of my monitor stand but I can't do that with this dock. Because of the length and the the stiffness of the cable I have to place the dock about five inches away from the stand. I thought about removing a star for this reason but in reality, it's not that big of a deal and doesn't affect the function of the dock. I do hope the cable will get less stiff over time.Overall I highly recommend this dock. It does what it's advertised to do.

I wanted another dock for my steam deck cause my current one i had for couple years did not work with my hdmi switch and it ony did 4k at 60hz while this one states 4k at 144hz and it also has faster usb 3.2 ports so i wanted to give it a go.When i received it the build quality feels better than the one i had and i like the black color vs my old one which is silver which matches my steam deck more and i also notice it holds my steam deck much better also, Than i glad to say this dock also works perfect with my hdmi switch and detects the input right away and shows the screen on my ultra wide monitor on one side of it when i use the steam deck on a bigger screen than i set the resolution to 2560x1440p and i was surprised really cause my hdmi switch can ony do 60hz but i saw the option for 120hz and it works perfect with no issues so i am pretty happy to see it works with my hdmi switch and also going to 120hz and i have no doubts about it going to 144hz but i just can't do that right now.I also like it does have a usb type c data port which my old dock ony has 3 usb type A ports so i can easy connect a external ssd up to it and get decent speed if i wanted to and I'm also using the 45watts ac adaptor that came with my deck cause this one did not come with one neither did my old dock but that is expected with these docks and i knew that from the start.I have no cons to say about this steam deck dock it works great and i had no issues at all with it so i do fully recommend it if you have a steam and wanted dock for it i really like it👍
