Worst tape ever. I’ve been painting for over 40 years. I needed tape for a large project. This tape is terrible to use. It breaks and comes apart too easily. It doesn’t seal a neat line and comes up after painting with great difficulty.

I keep a roll of this on my collator all the time to attach notes to objects or label items. Easy to use a marker on and be very readable!

I got this to price garage sale items and it's so much cheaper than home improvement and other stores. Painters tape is good for this because it doesn't damage the items. However I did find that when out in the sun, the goo sticks to the item defeating the purpose. So I won't use it on items that may be in the sun.

It works fine but you will have to use great care using it. It will not unroll without tearing.

Does the job. Sticks well, no residue and doesn’t come up. Very bright also! Wish they had all the primary colors in this exact tape.

Great Value! Not as glamorous as Frog Tape, but it works just as needed for a better value.

I use this tape every day for marking the date and contents on cartons of food before storing them in the freezer or fridge. It adheres very well, even when frozen. My husband is using it as painting tape right now on a house project, and he says the tape is slightly thinner than either of the name brand products we normally get, but that it doesn't make a difference. It comes off very nicely when he's done. The Duck brand tape has gotten to be a very dark blue and I can no longer use it to write on because you just can't read it, even in the black marker I use. I swear it used to be lighter. Anyway, in the future I will get this product every time.

The adhesive strength is poor for outdoor use as court marking.

I am a professional painter and thought I would give it a shot. It worked much better then expected. I gave me clean lines on trim, haven't used it for much outside of that though. You have to store it in a ziplock bag or the gel will dry out just like any other gel sealing tape.I honestly think ppl either don't know how to use the tape, the limitations of it or don't store it properly. Frog tape will bleed too if used on textured surfaces(needs the edge caulked) or used on glass window in direct sun(like how someone else posted). Gel edge tapes aren't supposed to be stuck down and used the next day either, they tend to bleed through when you do that.I bought this tape 2 years ago and have stored in ziplocks and it still worked great yesterday when I used it on stained trim I was trying to keep the paint off. Only thing I don't like about it is that is doesn't pull off in one piece, it tends to tear.
