The shape of the cake is great but you can only use less than half of a box cake batter. The title description implies that it’s a cake mold, I expect to be able to make a full box of cake. I used the remainder to make the circle cake that the leaf cake is sitting on in the photo and it was tthhhicckkkk. This thing needs to be much bigger.I apologize for my frosting job. Makes the shape look awful but it’s perfect under that mess. Great quality.

While this was a great product, and the end result was the correct shape for the pan. There was ZERO information on the amount of batter it would hold WITHOUT having to guess or bake for 1 1/2 hours... The tips of the leaf were basically burnt by the time the middle was even halfway baked through. I would recommend for anything other than actual baking, like maybe candles, ice molds, or even epoxy. But do not waste your money to use this for baking.

casted concrete first day it came, unplanned accident as a result of a spill, i still think it came out pretty nice.cant wait to try more things, but need some advice - don't know how to market this- a centerpiece? i think my audience would rather a candle holder or bookend or incense burner or even a pen holder for example. does anyone know of a way to "temporarily edit a mold" say if i wanted pen holds, could i some hole affix some small cylinders inside before the pour? and responses via review by other customers or by the manufacturer would be appreciated.at anyrate, you may be using it for cakes but in case you are interested it holds up great with cement, even when pouring it by accident

Feeds 4-5 easily...Tips: Use spray oil and sprinkle flour inside before adding your cake mix. Fill a tad over halfway, if it puffs up that is ok, you can let it cool then use a bread knife to carefully cut the bottom clean and straight before you turn it over. I put my cooling rack on the bottom then turn it over, tap the mold and gently lift. It came off with no problems. I allowed it to cool completely before frosting. Be sure to hold each leaf when frosting. I had no issues with breakage.
