Love this jacket so much that when I lost my first one I ordered it's replacement within an hour. With a windproof base layer, a jersey and this jacket I am very comfortable riding at temps in the 40's and 50's. With another layer, I've ridden comfortably with temps in the low 30's.

Nicely designed jacket for different kinds of weather but very end of zipper came detached making it nearly impossible to engage zipper. I don't know if it was a defective zipper or if they come this way. I rode 3 hours today today in 40-60 degree weather with sleeves attached. I was able to partially unzip sleeves when I heated up. I would buy another one if I they had better zippers

This thing rocks. It runs one size small though. I'm 6' 190 lb, 44 chest 34 waste, and I could not get a large on. XL was perfect. It breathes well and has room for one long sleeve base layer. It's essentially a thermal jersey really. Could go to lower temps with heavy base layer, with mid weight base layer it can handle 40 to 45F no problem if your hands and feet are decently warm w/ good shoes/booties and gloves. Feels nice, looks good, seems durable. Have not tried it as a short sleeve yet but I think it would do well.

It is a nice lightweight cycling jacket for those chilly mornings before you get warmed up. Once you are warm, it folds up albeit a little bulky into your back pocket.

This jacket is quite the mixed bag. The fabrics are great and the jacket is very flattering (if you like a "pro" fit). But two things ruin it for me.1 - the zippers2 - the fit around the shoulders, partly due to the short sleeves underneath the zip off long sleevesThere are multiple problems with the zippers, but the killer is that they simply do not engage easily, requiring multiple attempts to get them together and able to start zipping closed. This applies to the zippers on the sleeves as well as the main, front zipper. It's kinda like trying to plug a standard micro USB cable into a phone (can often take three tries to get the orientation right) vs plugging a Lightning cable into an iPhone (no brainer, just works every time, about the only thing about Apple products I actually like).Back to the jacket, the other problem with the zippers is that the two zip-off sleeves have different zipper configurations. Each sleeve is attached to the jacket with two zippers, one in front, one in back. That makes sense, it's probably good for comfort to avoid having a zipper wrap around the shoulders or arm pits. But the left sleeve has the zipper pulls attached to the jacket while the right sleeve has the zipper pulls attached to the sleeve. Plus of the two zips per sleeve, they run in opposite directions to each other. This design makes sense if the goal is to have every zipper be right handed (at the expense of having half the zippers running "upside down").As to the fit, this is definitely a "pro" fit, so I expect it to be close fitting. But the numbers in the size chart provided are just off (or they apply only to the semi-form-fit or club fit Sugoi products, not this pro fit). There is no way someone with a 42" chest will fit the L. Luckliy, I ordered both a L and XL expecting this potential sizing issue. There is no way someone with a 45" chest will fit the XL. Anyway, order a size up at least. The short sleeves on the "vest" portion make sense only if the you wear a sleeveless jersey or skinsuit or base layer without jersey (in which case this is more of a convertible long sleeve jersey than a jacket). As it is, the short sleeve causes whatever you're wearing underneath to bunch up and feel restricting. "My arm pits are feeling cold and I want to have short sleeves on my vest", no cyclist ever said.Update Feb 29 2016: After wearing this jacket a few times, the front zipper has become worn in a bit and easier to engage, so my criticism of that is reduced. For the first time on a ride a few days ago, it got warm enough that I needed to remove the sleeves. Because I was riding alone and didn't have someone to help me undo the back pair of zippers, I ended up having to take the jacket off to remove the sleeves, which is a significant inconvenience.
