The “ink” is not permanent. Even after 24 hrs I can still rewet the paint and it smears. This is more like gouache paint.

What an experience, using these!They are nothing like watercolors, nothing like oils, nothing like acrylics.They really are a whole other, wonderful class of media.I love that I happened on Sumikundo’s ink sets. I’ve bought several other of Sumikundo’s color sets, and each made me swoon.

These paints are a nice addition and allow me to create illustration with a completely different look than those I create with standard watercolor. They are different , more opaque and easier to lift than standard watercolor. I update with an example soon.
