Lightweight, simple, sun blocking fishing hat. I ordered it for a hiking and fishing trip I’m going on, and it’ll be good for that! I have a large head, and it fits. The mesh area helps the head to not get too hot - which I like. Good, basic, fishing/summer hat. Nothing to complain about!

My son was wanting hat for when he cuts grass that would protect him from the sun. This hat is well made and light weight. The color is nice. I like that it is vented so the heat can escape. It comes with 2 snaps that you can snap the side up into. It doesn't really look right that way. So he will just use it down.

I use tretinoin and need to make sure my face is protected by the sun. I always wear sunscreen but this ensures I have extra protection. It is pretty wide and covers my face adequately. It does, however, leave your neck exposed especially if you're bending over weeding so if you're wearing your hair up or have short hair you'll need to make sure you put some sunscreen on your neck (see pic).The size chart is a little confusing. It's listed as a bucket hat and they have a M and L for that hat and a one size for the "warm hat." My head measures 22" but it's a little large. Luckily, it has an elastic cincher to make it a little more snug. Plus, I sometimes wear a cloth around my forehead to absorb sweat and this will allow for the extra bulk of the sweatband.It came folded in a flat box with instructions of how to iron out the fold. I'm wearing it my yard and you really can't see the fold so I didn't bother at all. It looks great just as it is.

This is an excellent sun protection hat. It has a nice stiff brim, its not floppy like some hats I have. It has a vented headband area that keeps the airflow going to your head. It is not a rain hat for this reason. It has a adjustable bungee to keep the hat on in wind, and this hat stays on in the wind quite well. It had a 3.5 in brim and shades your whole head very well. It has snaps to fold the sides up Aussie style. I took it fishing and it stayed on my head on a boat at 25 mph, thanks to the bungee and the adjustable chin strap . I was surprised and the amount of wind it took to blow it back and off my head. It really is a well designed hat. Mine is grey.
