My hubby has had skin cancer removed from the top of his ears several times over the last 10-15 years. He loves the Coolibar hats b/c he works outside and the hat brims offer him the best protection from the sun in Florida. We have purchased from the company in the past, but were excited to be able to now purchase from Amazon.

I never expected that this hat would become my favorite and so I would never bought very expensive baseball caps which are just stubby, heavy, stiff, and have never provided me so much comfort, sun protection, lightness, and ventilation.

Hands down my absolute favorite sun hat. Looks cool and works perfect. I can fold it up and put it in my cargo shorts pocket and pull it out use it, without worry about it’s shape, anytime I need it. I own 3 of these in different colors. Tho 1 is currently MIA. So maybe I’ll be ordering another soon

This is one of the better hats I own. I have trouble finding hats that fit my large noggin so I bought this in xxl and it fits pretty well. The rim is floppy, as the description indicates. You can snap up the sides if you want. Overall it's good quality and is my go to sun hat.

I have searched for a while to find a hat that gives me the shade I need that also fits my (rather large) head. One-size-fits-all hats never fit me, and even brands that make L/XL hats usually don't fit. This XXL fits perfect (I measured around my head and it's about 24", for context)As you can see from the photos, the hat itself is very nice. It provides shade to your entire face and the back of your neck. There are snaps on each side if you want to fasten the sides up, if you're into that Australian look. The hat comes with a strap that you can fasten up and down to hold it on tight. That part is removable, which is nice if you don't want the strap dangling in your face. But it would be very handy for a windy day or a ride out on the water on a boat.When I bought this hat, I also ordered the Coolibar Matchplay golf hat at the same time, with the intention of trying them both out and keeping the one I liked best. I ultimately kept this hat and sent the Matchplay back. But I think it depends on what you are looking for, as the Matchplay is a great hat in its own right. The Matchplay has a much stiffer brim, and you can probably even "mold" it a bit to your liking. The Featherweight is much floppier. While the XXL in both fit properly, I preferred the look of the Featherweight for my purposes (beach/fishing hat), so this is the one I kept.

This is actually a good and comfortable product. For me the part I didn't like is that when it's windy the brim moves quite a bit.
