Good light, but better to invest in LED systems which give a larger and stronger spread of light for a better value.You would need 2 to 4 of these CFLs for every 3 x 2' space. For example, in our 2x3x5' greenhouse with four shelves, one light will provide enough light to give a good start to and sustain 50-55⅝ garden plants or flowers on a single shelf. Others may grow, but slow and sparce.
