This is a nice setup for clearing weeds from gravel driveways, etc. The hose is long enough to allow covering 12' of area at a time without having to move the tank, and outputs plenty of heat to get the job done. Easy to use and adjust flame temperature to desired effect.Assembly is a little awkward, as connecting the hose to the wand requires both a 3/4" standard and 17mm metric wrench. It will be come rapidly obvious to most, but this is also a reverse threaded connection. The wand could be a little longer - for a 6'0" user, you find yourself working the ground too close to your feet often.All in all, good tool for the price.

The materials on this are quality. Nice handle and grip. The trigger is sized to be pulled with 2-3 fingers. Does not come with instructions, which it really should for an item like this that can create a hazard. The spout at the end that the flame comes out of is a bit shorter than some other torches in this price bracket. I like that a 13 foot hose was included, whereas most similar torches come with 10 feet. The hose length is important because a longer hose means moving the propane tank less. The threads on the connector are reverse threaded and it goes inside the connector on the tank itself. First time I had tried this and I didn't realize the connector on the tank had threads both inside and outside.

I had a torch before that broke after a few months. Cheap chinees stuff. This one is far sturdier. Longer hose, better flame control, and no pointless fancy packaging. Smart seller, excellent product.

1-month update: still amazingAfter three months, this torch has been used to start fires, burn weeds, and even light damp logs after rain. It always works. Respect to the seller for not inflating the price just to add extra box fluff. 10/10

I originally bought this torch for one job — clearing weeds from the gravel driveway and around the stone path leading to our shed. I’d been using boiling water and vinegar for years (and getting nowhere), so I figured it was time to bring out the big guns. This thing delivered. It hooked right up to my standard propane tank, and within seconds, I was melting weeds like they owed me rent. The flame is no joke — powerful, clean, and really satisfying to use. I got the job done in a fraction of the time it normally takes, and without chemicals.But what surprised me most was how often I ended up reaching for it afterward. I used it to light the firepit for our last family BBQ, then again a few nights later to start a burn barrel. I even helped my neighbor clear a patch of his overgrown walkway, and now he wants one too. The hose is long enough that I don’t feel like I’m dragging the tank everywhere, and the trigger is smooth with a comfortable grip. It feels solid in your hand — not like those cheap plastic ones I’ve seen friends get off brand-name websites.Bonus points to the seller for not jacking up the price when tariffs hit. Instead of hiding the cost in flashy packaging, they kept it minimal and passed the savings on to us. I respect that. And honestly, I didn’t miss the glossy box — I wanted a reliable torch, and that’s exactly what I got. Highly recommend.
