This mat has been a fantastic addition to my workout routine. It’s nice and thick, providing excellent cushioning and support during exercises. The tri-fold design makes it easy to store when not in use, and it’s durable enough to handle regular use. Whether I’m stretching, doing floor exercises, or just need extra comfort, this mat works perfectly. I’m really pleased with its quality and performance, it's a great value for the money.

This mat was exactly what I needed for my physical therapy, which is for a hip and requires me to be on the ground a lot. Previously I tried yoga mats but while they are good for protecting from a hard floor for yoga, I did not find them as comfortable to lay on and workout. This mat is easy to fold and unfold. Has built in handles for carrying (like walking with a giant fabric briefcase), and is covered with a nylon cover that is easy to wipe down after a workout. I thought the fabric would be uncomfortable but it isn’t. It’s rough to the touch when you first feel it with your hand, but when you’re using it, it’s no problem. I also wasn’t how sure a 24” wide mat would fit for a workout but there’s more than enough room. This isn’t solid foam rubber (like a super thick yoga mat)…it’s more memory foam type of foam…you know, the kind used for filler…but it is very sturdy and supportive. That said, I feel like this is going to flatten over time. But maybe it’ll prove me wrong. I’ve only used it about a week so far.PROSEasy to fold/storeBuilt in handles that don’t get in the way during useSupportiveComfortableEasy to wipe downCONSDespite the built in handles and foldability, this thing would be ludicrous to carry anywhere but to your car and backSeems very likely to lose its shape (but maybe it’ll stay firm, too soon to tell)Good for a workout, not recommended for yoga—too thick and foamy, not great for balance

I’m a heavy weight woman and wanted a cushiony mat for my sit-up especially for my backbone and spine support. However this item is equal to doing it on the floor with nothing. I hope in future Amazon state the details of the item properly.

I love this mat. I'm so happy I ordered it. Shipping was fast and there was no damage. My size: I am 5'8" and 175 and this mat is a fine size for me.The mat's size: 2 ft wide x 6 ft long x 2 in deep Folded in the carrying position it is 23 in x 23 in x 5.5 in and very lightweight & easy to carry because it has handles. The feel: the outside is a very soft vinyl. The foam material inside is good, and I am not feeling the floor through it. It is soft, and that is what I wanted. I bought this because my joints are bony and sensitive. It's working great. If I begin to feel the floor or it slides, I will just put a standard yoga mat under it for the grip and additional cushioning. If my hands get sweaty and slip on the mat (which has not happened yet) I will put a gripping yoga towel on it.The smell: At first I didn't notice a smell, but after a few hours with it closed in a room I noticed it when I went in there. There is a slight menthol smell to it. I'm going to air it out for a week or two and see if it goes away. If it doesn't I will update the review since I really dislike odors. This is the only thing that slightly concerns me so I'm keeping the 5 stars for now. UPDATE (the next day): The smell goes away! I aired it out in my mudroom overnight and it somewhat dissipated, but then I hung it outside for about 5 or 6 hours and the smell is 90% gone. I think if I air it out tomorrow it will be completely gone. The look: It looks really nice and sleek. The packaging says it maintains its original shape, and it seems like it will. It bounces right back after you step off of it.and safely wipe it down after use.Cleaning: Since it is vinyl, you can easily

I'm 6'1 and 180 lbs, and needed a mat that would fit my frame. I wanted a longer mat (a 3'x8' would be perfect), but for the price and the amount of room I have to store it, this mat was the best bang for the buck, even if it is just a tad too short. The 24" mats were too narrow for me since the edge of my shoulders and arms would lay on the floor when doing exercises. The next mat up from this that I could find was a 4'8', and that was just too much mat for me.The one thing I really like about this mat is that it is firm, and also that it comes in black. I can slide it under my couch and since it's not a bright blue or bright red, it doesn't detract from the living room decor. I didn't want a mat that was too soft or too hard, and this one seems to fall right in the Goldilocks zone, just right. It folds up really easy, and there is a velcro strip on the side walls. This velcro strip will let you add another mat next to it, or you can just press the handles (that also have velcro on them) into the sidewalls when it's folded up and that will help keep it secure on one side. You can't secure the other side, but with one side secure it keeps all folded-up pretty good. It's like a built-in strap without them putting a strap on it. The handles work well too and haven't gotten in my way while doing exercises. When it's unfolded, you can press the handles into the sidewalls so they don't get in the way of your workout. It's vinyl and easy to clean, just spray and wipe.I'm marking the mat down a star because one of the vinyl panels is a little looser than the other two. It'd be great if they were all nice and tight, but they're not. The person making it just needed to pay more attention to detail; I'm sure this will vary by mat. It works though, and I'll continue to use it. The looseness of one panel could annoy some if you're going to be jumping and moving around on it a lot. Since I only use it for ab work, it's not an issue.FYI, this mat is not good for yoga as you'll want something more firm. I've been using it for P90x and it works fine, with the exception of the Yoga part of course. If you're going to do P90x and want just one mat, get a Manduka Yoga Mat.If you have any questions about this mat that I haven't addressed, just ask in the comments and I'll try and respond promptly.
