Like I said in the title, its cheap. It was easy to install, and it works. Passed its first major test last weekend as the basement is very dry.

I have tried many different waterfall pumps and this one has held up longer than any other. I like that it shuts off when the water gets low

It is items like this that bring to mind "built like a tank". This thing is made with cast iron and steel. There is some plastic on the float, but it is like balastic plastic. It is tough. It is big and heavy too. This reminds me of a pump I used years ago in the trades. It was old and heavy too. But it worked. Sometimes for 2 or 3 days straight. I'm hoping this one behaves similarly. I have had a new pump almost every 2 years since 2016 because they break. I think this one will break that streak and then some. If not, I will update.This pump works very fast. It is smooth though and stays put. I love the long cord, which is a great thing. Just be aware... this thing is heavy. You won't want to have to carry this thing around for long. Other than that, I dig it. 5 stars.

Nice and heavy. Put this is my cellar sump hole to intermittently remove unwanted water. Nice long cord. So far - So good. I like it!
